DS multiplayer doesn't think i'm strong enough...

Post by nmyerson »

So I have to admit, I'm wearing +2 strength: gauntlets, shoes, helmet, shield which allows me to wear +3 armor.

I wield a 215-300 ax.

Think I'm approx lvl 50ish. But it won't let me start past crystwind. If I use the thingamagig, it says I'm not powerful enough to zoom ahead.

But the pain of going through the mines is getting to me. Does anyone know the lvls you need to start in each town?

Should I just scrap all this armor that I've found so Crystwind is actually challenging?

Basically my guy is a fighter that can cast triple strike. Once I could cast that, I improve combat magic again. Though I think that spell is a tad unbalancing, it makes my guy even stronger for it's level...

Any advice? I though about starting in elldrin and just running to Lang each time. Did that a couple times...

First of all, there is a map somewhere (I don't remember where I saw it) that lists the required levels for each section of the world. If you can find it, it might be helpful to you.

Secondly, there are mods out there that allow you to bypass the level requirements and go to whichever level you want. This is probably a much better option for you... check out PDS for the mod, IIRC, it should be there :)
