I don't know the answer, but I must ask...why, do you want to cheat? If so, shame on you! Work your way up like you're supposed to.

LOL

I don't think that's what he meant.

Anyways, to answer your question: In single player, the monsters don't respawn (not that I've noticed). The game is "supposed" to be balanced so that you will be able complete the game with just the amount of XP you receive from killing the monsters just once. Of course, if you solo throughout the game you will gain much more XP and level, and be one tough SOB by killing all the monsters yourself. Counter-wise, if you have a party of 8 characters in your party you will gain less level and XP for each one of them, but it will still be balanced out due to the number of man-power in your party.

In multiplayer games all the monsters will respawn at the start of a new game.

Hope that answers your question more precisely than "why, do you want to cheat?". =)

I think you have the wrong take on the game. You don't progress via experience leveling, but via skill use. And to keep advancing a given skill, you have to use it constantly, and on a grander and grander scale.

So just hitting skeletons will bring you some sword skill increases at first, but that will tail off as you need to find something new and harder to kill. No free lunches, here. :)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

There isn't infinite XP in Dungeon Siege. Without hacking the game, each skill type is capped at level 150.

In Single Player, there is not an infinite number of baddies, though repeatedly fighting summons is a good way to quickly level up. There are mages in the Ice Caverns who spawn a whole lot of Ice Warriors/Archers to pick on. In Multi Player, each time you restart, all the bad guys are back, waiting to be killed, so it is possible to level up to 150. You can also take your SP character and import it into MP to continue levelling up.

I'm not sure about the Uber level, but the skills are capped at 150, as far as I remember.

Um, howling, if you are going to respond to every thread, you may want to look at what you are saying :)

You can look at that URL for a Experience level cap removal mod... I don't think the people in this thread want respawns in SP :D :D :D

Xp

If you are interest in excellerating XP then go to http://www.dsedit.net and download Kanes XP spells, Level 300, and review others. These mods can be removed after installing, they do not affect the normal game files.
