Chapter 9 Can't complete quest playing solo

I'm playing single player. I have the quest to vanquish the seck. I am taken down to Dom and there's a movie clip. I don't hear him talk although it looks like he is. And then I guess I'm supposed to kill him but there's a message bubble like he wants to say something but when I click it, nothing happens. And I can't do anything. I click = nothing. I can't kill him. I can't move on. Did anyone have this problem? What should I do? Thanks!

That happened to me also... I ended up having to shut down DS and start game over again... Hope you have a recent save game file, for there is nothing you can do. Since the bubble is still there, and no sound during movie, you can not attack the boos creature with out restarting...

Try pressing Esc once if it does not clear press Esc again. Deep pressing Esc untill the save/load panel come up. Select continuie and kill the Gom. Don't know if you'lll read this but thought I'd respond.
