Fury's Eye

I found an item called Fury's Eye, which looks like a big round sphere in some puzzling catacomb after the ice caves I think, but does anyone know what it does/is good for? I haven't found any reference to it at all anywhere. No quest... No speech... I am only in the swamps right now, so maybe it comes later, but I am tired of packing it around... anyone?

As far as i know fury's eye is only neede in multiplayer, there is no use of it on the single campaign.

It is one of 3 items necessary to get into the Chicken Level on MP.

The other 2 are:
Newbie knife
Trial of Gallus

Yea I just got done with the single player and want to know where to find the Trial of Gallus, I have the Fury's eye and the knife already.

You get the "Trial of Gallus" at the end of Multiplayer after you have placed all the stones.

You can play MP on your own computer with a Network game.
