So finally, I found an Ist...

Post by C Elegans »

Sigh...for many months when I was really into the game I kept looking for Ist runes but I never managed to find one. I had a lvl 80+ MF barb and later I got an even better MF barb from Kam. However, no Ist...

Recently I took up playing again after one years break (the hubby has kept Kam's and my high lvl chars alive since he still plays), and I was strolling around in Worldstone Keep with my old FO/FW/CB sorc just to get into the game again...and off a stupid little Enslaved, an Ist rune drops!

Congratulate me! :)

well done :) those runes are tricky customers. I'm trying to organise my ungodly collection of very basic runes at the moment.

The stupid thing is that now, I don't have much time to play! Well, at least I finally got the Ist-socketed Occulus I always wanted...kept it empty all the time.

My next goal rune-wise will be to find another Ist and a Vex to build a Silence for my Samurai Ass...less damage than the Cruel sword she has now, but the 75% resistances and the 20% IAS should make it worth it.

Wow that is lucky, I'm an IST rune away frommaking Silenece in my 6 socketed Colossus Crossbow. They're indeed tough to find.

Nice...

@Krimmy: So then you have a Vex rune? They are about twice as diffult to find as the Ist, so obviously you have been lucky too :)

Nah, I traded for it. When the patch comes out and we have the ability to upgrade the higher lvl runes it will be much easier.
