Problems with mega map

Problems with mega map

Okay, I'm running windows 98 second edition
I had Dungeon Siege installed before, but had to reinstall it. Before I had to reinstall it, the mega map worked fine.... now all I get is a black screen with my character's name on it whenever I try to access the mega map.... I would REALLY like to be able to use the mega map. Any ideas how to fix this? :confused:
