Recently i upgraded from Diablo 2 (1.10) to the expansion-version. But when I started the game I found out that my character wasen't there! I checked the save-folder in the Diablo2-folder to see if the saved files hade been deleted, but the files were still there. Is there a chance that something in my characters inventory greated this problem? If that's the case, maybe i fix it then.
Have anyone countered the same problem or am I the only "lucky" one? Is there a way to save my character or lost for ever?
I have the same problem when trying to get chars from pre 1.10 into 1.10, don't know how to solve it though....

I put the 'laughter' back in 'slaughter'
Had the same thing happen except I just exited and when I came back to play again my character was gone . Just like you the saved files are there on My computer but doesn't show when I boot the game.. Did you ever find a solution?
