What's the best Paladin setup??

as i mentioned in my previous post i'm begining Diablo II again and I've decided to make a paladin. I want him to be a generic hack and slash dude who can pretty much take anything on. What is the best Paladin setup, and why?

Thorns thorns thorns. Screw the other auras. When you get thorns high enough, you can actually (due to a bug possibly) stand in the cow level, and the cows will slash you and die, no health potions needed (you'll eventually die, but it doesnt happen when it should, not by a long shot).

Other that the auras, Fist of the heavens is excellent in Nightmare on act 1/2. Zeal is always a great upgrade.

For multiple party members, don't use thorns (if this is on bnet). Prayer will heal your party right quick, and might will ensure they cut down anything.

If you play on bnet you can never go wrong with a hammerdin with full concentration,vigor and salvation. The hammers can do up to 5k damage each and if you get many faster cast rate items your hammers become like the druid hurricane, only 5* as deadly AND it only deals magic damage so almost noone is immune to your hits

Set up for general hack n slash

Well you said you wanted a general hack n slash right? if you are playing with the patch 1.10 then you cant go wrong with zeal, master sacrifice, (bonus to zeal) also get fanaticism (Fant) (incresses attack speed and power) and conviction (Con) which can in most cases negate immunities. Get plenty of life leech and LOTS of defence and a high defence paladin shield with four sockets in it put four perfect dimonds in there and you should have preety good resistances. Get a weapon with very fast attack speed. If playing on closed Bnet its a good idea to use con with any elemental Characters. Remember Con takes immunites away. If that doesnt help you any then you my friend are a lost cause and shouldnt play but if u find abetter set up let me know.
