What's the deal with soj's???

Hey all you Diablo II fans... I've been away from the game for about 8 months or so, now that i have come back i've noticed that while playing i see a message that reads: "X number" of soj's sold to merchants. What's up with that??? Why is the game keeping track of that?

The soj count is somehow realted to when Uber-diablo enters the game... I can't remember how but there is somekind of relation...

OK this only happens in Hell difficulty...
When youre playing through the game in hell difficulty, if it says x number of Sojs sold to merchants (over 200) it may say Diablo Walks The Earth. Next go to act one and find a monster boss, like rakanishu or something. He should be where the boss was. Only when you kill him, which is hard because he has 95 resist to everything including physical, except magical damage. After you kill him, he drops the charm Annihulus, and thats the ONLY way to get that charm...

so is that the charm i've heard rumors about that acts as a level 40 somthing chain lightning when you die, or is it something else?

the 'charm' is actually a jewel, its called the rainbow facet, there are all ones for the different elements including poison, and some are for leveling up, some for dieing... thats what you've probably heard about.

Now one of my friends told me that u can also get a stone of jorden by going into hell and gambling on the ring the chances arent great for it but he said that it could happen. Now i dont know if this is true for he is just a friend on battle net and could have beed lie'n and i dont know if it is even a ring or not but i just thought i would throw my ten cents in.

yup with 1.10 u can now gamble sets/rares/unquies so if your goin to hell better have a ton of gold and all you d2-lod d-clone killers are lucky !!why!! i play classic d2 none lod and i've killed d-clone in hell and got nothing so good luck to you guys
