"Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Games Studios bring you this new adventure for Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna, developed by Mad Doc Software and Gas Powered Games. This XP Extra continues the story of Legends of Aranna, as players are called upon to defend the village from an attack by the Hassat race of mutated great cats. Players must repair the rift between the Hassat and the Humans, or die trying in this new level available exclusively for Windows XP users."
New Dungeon Siege LoA add-on
I played this last night. So here's my opinion of it.
1. Very short, but well worth getting.
2. Not much of a story line, as there is only one thing to do really, save the human town and restore peace betwen the humans and the cat people.
3. Boris, the fighter you can take with you for 800+ gp {the most expensive henchman}, will drive you nuts. He sounds like Forrest Gump, but dumber. Don't say I didn't warn you when you try slapping him and break your monitor.
4. You get some gold and other things to start you off, but you will need armor and a weapon. The noob knife won't cut it here {sorry for the pun}.
5. You start off at level 0 {zero} and if done right you can quickly become level 10 without much of a sweat.
6. Instead of that idiot Boris {he's only helpful in the 1st major encounter} I suggest you take either a mage or a ranger. There are 2 of each, but the only fighter is Boris. Plus, there is a surprise for you after about 20 to 30 minutes of playing it.
7. The boss fight is tough with such little chance to advance in levels, but it can be done. I had to use resurrect on my henchman after the fight was over the first time I played it.
8. The characters will fly off into battle even if you aren't ready. I was going after a jar and even though I clicked on it 3 times, my character and that idiot Boris went off to fight something I couldn't see. They do have a mind of their own most of the time.
9. You get to see some old favorites {not that many, but it was fun killing a couple of krug again} as well as some new monsters.
10. Again, very short but well worth it. For what it is, I'd give it a 8.9 out of 10.

Loa
Yes LOA is short but the multiplaer feature allow you to carry your character between LOA-online and DS-online. This add another area to increase your xp get a backpack and get the disco hat, with a defence of 100.
To Pyramids: you must be in the DS-online. For first timers I recommend you enter through the elivator in the Tower in the Great northern forest. Its not direct, you must find a second elivator.

Pyramids
I think the tent your talking about is near the Pyramid of the Stars. If you leave the Pyramid of the Dead walk immeadiatly West to the P-Dead corner then walk North and look slitghtly NW for the P-Stars. Continue North looking to the right and you will find the tent in a depression. Why though it contains nothing.
