How can I mule from Single Player mode

Post by Biohazard1 »

I have never played in Multiuser mode, only on the BattleNet Realms. Is there any way to mule from a character created in single player mode? My necro found a windforce and I hate to throw it away....

It is risky to mule in single player. As long as a game has been up for about 5 minutes or more, it will continue to exist for about 5 minutes after you have left it. So what you can do is to create a game, stay in it for at least 5 minutes, leave and come back with another character. It is however not totally safe, sometimes a game will disappear immediately even if it has been up for a long time.

Huh? How do you enter the same game with a different character in single player mode? A new character generates a different game when you create the character.

You must be thinking about battlenet mode, not single player mode.

I was thinking I could use my single player mode character in a LAN game and transfer that way...is that possible?

It should be as long as you have two computers running the game that you can control and is on the same network. You could also take your character to an Open Bettle.net game that you then can mule your single player char in just like a closed battle.net game...

Sorry, I meant you use Open Bnet with your char. It is safer to use a LAN if you have two computers though, then you could just create a game with one char and join the same game with another char.

Accually you cant make a game and mule in single player mode. the game that is created by one char is gone when that char leaves. So you need someone on open B.net you really trust to help you with it. and thats the best way ive seen so far.
