Hi I am a newbie in Dungeon Siege.
I have a simple question
If I buy the services of a character say... the mage that is in the Inn on Glacyern... will he automatic leave my party when the quest/episode/etc in ends? Or will it be forever in my party until the end of the game or until I disband it...?
Thanks !!
Little Simple Question Plz Reply... Thanks

Your NPC should stay with you as long as you don't don't attack him. Dungeon Siege is not like Arcanum. No alginment issue or need to carry something to placate a NPC. By a NPC in Glacern do you mean Lorun. He is a combat mage and is weak so he will need armor and spells for him to be effective.
I like to play DS as a Nature mage. A Nature mage can caste a few defensive spells that can also be used to protect Lorun and the entire team for tough combat. Those spells are: Magic Armor, Regeneration, Mana Shield, Static Armor. The combat mage has only one defensive spell which leave a combat mage terribly weak early in the game. But a combat mage can earn strength faster than a Nature mage so have him do melee periodically. If you don't have a Nature mage in your party save or quick save before entering combat, save about every five minutes and that is a lot of fighting.
