Microsoft Dungeon Siege has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

i was on MS support and it said to download something from new.net...but it says like not availible, it does this evertimei click to play on line....does anyone have a solutioN?

DS Crashes

Sounds like you might have a corrupted file.

I suggest you uninstall DS and reinstall it. Use the uninstall utility in the DS folder under Microsoft Games and use all default settings when reinstalling.

If you have any mods remove them before re-installing then re-install your mods after refreshing them from your download folder. With all files now new your problem should be gone.

Note: I've had similar problems after de-fraging my hard drive. So I now remove DS before de-fraging. (de-fraging is disk defragmenter)
