i have this problem: my Mercenary got killed, and i can't get him back...
when i ask one of the guys that can ressurect them, they just say: "cant perform that task" or something like that. why

I once had a little teaparty, this afternoon at three, twas was very small, three guests in all; I, myself, and me. myself ate up the sandwhiches, while i drank up the tea. twas also i that ate the pie,and passed the cake to me
Have you checked that you have enough money to resurrect your merc? If so, what version are you playing and are you on Bnet or Single player? In 1.08 single player I think there was a bug that made it impossible to resurrect a dead merc.

i can't carry any more money... i play single player, but it's to late now. my merc are gone he dissapered(sp?) when i started up the game again
