Post by Weasel »

I believe at the rate America is going...in thirty years...

(1)People will not go outside. You will leave your house/sleeping place by a tube to your transportation. When you arrive at work there will be another tube. On the way you will past by the drug crazy slim infesting the city/country roads.

Any thoughts???

Hey, don't be so quick to lambaste those who represent you in Congress. Not all pols are corrupt and greedy. We wouldn't have the Bill of Rights without pols in our midst.

"bug" words? Are you an insect collector or something?

Relax, I was just kidding. I know very well what that show is about, and who its producers are. South Park goes to Washington!

Hmmm, America in thirty years… Two words: Soylent Green!

Poet How goes the world?
Painter It wears, sir, as it grows.
Timon of Athens I.i. 2-3

Or put another way:

You load sixteen tons, so what do you get, Another day older and deeper in dept

:D
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Coruscant? Probably, but perhaps more like Blade Runner. Cor. was one big planet-city. The world of Blade Runner still had some mountains and forests and lakes, if you remember the ending.

Everyone always said, by the year 2000 we'd be floating around in flying cars, and visiting mega cities in the sky.

In the majority of movies portrating the future, it is a negative scene. I'm not refering to all, just most. I belive that somehow, this has impacted upon people with enough force to promote a simple world like today.

I believe the advancement of america or the rest of the world for that matter, will not change drastically, however, certain refinements will be made. I also believe that you'll never get rid of people going to parks to sit under the trees and watch the stars at night. As time goes on, history has shown that we have no moved further away from nature, but closer to it. Granted, the majority of the population live in cities, but we all still visit parks and forests from time to time. If you don't, then your in the minority.

Just my opinion... nothing more.
Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

On a serious note: People in America will be too lazy and obese to do anything, while the normal ones will take to drugs and America will become corrupt. There probably be a war between America and Chine or something.
