Diablo or Baal?
Which one of them are difficult? i think it's Baal because he can make a copy of himself and he has some of destructive moves and loads of minions including 'Minion of destruction'. Diablo? he has red lightning and(of course) other demonic moves. Hard to hit(59%) with my lvl 29 assasin and i got lvl 10 claw mastery and 75 dexterity.

i kill baal without using a single healing potion, but diablo manages to kill me some times. so i must say diablo for sure.
I once had a little teaparty, this afternoon at three, twas was very small, three guests in all; I, myself, and me. myself ate up the sandwhiches, while i drank up the tea. twas also i that ate the pie,and passed the cake to me
This was not an option but I'd say duriel anayways
He always manages to kill me when ever I get to him in act 2. The room also makes me feel claustrophbic so that might be another reason why I just can't seem to be able to kill him in my first go....
Diable and Bhaal are equally easy, Bhaal is harder to get to though so I'd have to say him.

Red Lightning, that's all Diablo needs to whup anyone's backside. Also in particular there's a strange artificial intelligence to him, in that he'll chases you somewhat but not enough to make many tactics uselesss, it's hard to use stationary attacks on him and hard to use moving ones too.
Although Bhaal is a problem I find that he's a pansy in comparison even with his duplicate, personally I just townportal out and back if he uses his duplicate to remove it. Bhaal will just more often than not stand in the spot and make a convienient target most of the time.

Which monster in most difficult depends a lot on which class you play, but in general I agree with Garaz and Yeltsu that Duriel is the most difficult.
Of Diablo and Baal, I think Baal is the more difficult. At least at Hell difficulty. At normal, Diablo is usually the most difficult because you haven't got your main skills yet.

BAH!Lord Duriel was/is the harest boss in the game!I never had to heal against either of them...Of course Duriel was only uber hard beacuse I was like low leveled...I still owned him...After like 100 tries! But Baal was the hardest out of those two.He alwaysed maneged to damage me somehow even though he wasn't even near me!

When I first played Diablo II, i was on a bad computer. My biggest fear was Bhaal, because when the Prince of Darkness horde was summoned, the computer would take about a minute to load. In that time the monsters would have already begun laying into me.
In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

In my opinion Baal is harder to kill. I was kinda suprised how easily I killed Diablo with my assassin. My tactic was that I run around Diablo
when he casts that red energy spell (sorry, can't get on my head what that spell was ATM). WHen the spell fades, I stop, throw flame traps around Diablo, then he casts the spell again, and I run around him and avoid the spell. It didn't take long to kill Diablo with that way
Baal was also actually quite easy. I use almost same kind of tactic than agains Diablo. I stayed far away from Baal, so that he uses spells only. When I see that he casts that annoying spell (sorry again, can't remember the name of the spell) that pushes me before it at the same time when it damages me, I run behind pillar, so that the spell can't touch me.
All the time I throw flame traps that keeps damaging Baal.
