Post by Nitro_Snake »

Too make a wicked dueling blizz sorc u need to put 1 into warmth 2 into teleport 20 into cold blast 20 into glacial spike 20 into ice bolt and 20 into blizz + 20 into coldmaster. put 100 into strength and all the rest into vitality. Theitems u should wear are Nightwings, Enigma or Chains Of Honor (COH), Sandstorm Trek boots, a Lidless Magefist gloves, Arachnid mesh belt( spiderbelt 1+ all skills) or SnowClash Battle belt And an Occulus with with a p cold facet in it. Thats a blizz sorc that will have up too 10 k each falling spike. SWEET EH! Cheeriohh! email me if u have ne other questions on a sorc items attaks or skillpoint of ne character :D ;) :) :p

I used to play with a Blizz sorc like that. It works fine for PvM as well, btw, you just want to spend you statpoints a little differently, ie not put all the rest in vita but go for high block instead (dex).

Well, if this is a pvp sorc, neither is suitable (though CoH > Enigma for stacking resists). Ormus with +20% Cold damage (facet) is the best as since the mastery reduces resists, the 20% is very significant (i.e. it doesn't stack with it). If you can get one, a Fathom would obviously be top choice as your don't need too much FCR. I personally prefer Snowclash to Arachnids, but it's your choice. My Sorc deals 16K Blizzards. Also why 100 to strength?

16K or so is from (IIRC):
Nightwings, Fathom, Ormus, 4soc Monarch (all of which are socketed)
x2 SoJ, Snowclash, Mara's
x10 Cold Skillers, x1 Annihilus

Btw, why would you need to use various Enigmas?

@Nitro: For PvP, I don't really see the advantage with using Enigma instead of a Blizzard Ormus with for this build.

For PvM, I like CoH because of it's resists, or a +3 Blizzard/15 cold damage Ormus for damage. Enigma is useless on a sorc IMO.

I don't play PvP, but I would assume that a perfect Ormus socked with a perfect cold facet would be far better than Enigma?

Yep, it's a lot better, but quite difficult to find (seeing as high runes are duped beyond belief) unfortunately.
