Knight of the Old Republic- Predictions Thread
At the end of KOTOR 2,
SPOILER!!!
-------------------------
If you are light side, the Ebon Hawk flies off Malachor V. You may be in it (to follow Revan into the Outer Rim?!)
If you are dark side, the Ebon Hawk DIES. (You stay on Malachor V to become the next Sith Lord?!)
-------------------------
So, what would be happen in KOTOR 3? My guess is...
There will be 2 different CD sets (one for light side, and one for dark side). That way, the story will become less complicated (as it will be 2 entirely different stories instead of just one trying to blend all the possibilities together).
By the way, it would be great if the next sequel is "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - The return of Revan".
So, guys, and gals, what prediction can you give for KOTOR 3? (Obviously, if you are light, you may see the Ebon Hawk again. If you are dark, then you will never see it again).

1 idea i had for KOTOR 3 is that its basically the same as KOTOR 2 but instead of tracking down the Jedi Masters (to destroy them or unite them) your tracking down Sith lords (to force them to join you or to destroy them) and each Sith lord you get to join you actually joins your party all this leads upto your final assault on the Jedi Order (or the Sith)

Well, as for the scheduling of KOTOR 3 I have no clue, what I have only heard is rumors, so hopefully it will be officially announced sometime soon cause I have been dieing to hear some sort of information about it and to have a definite trilogy to look forward to. Also, the good news is, the rumors definitely concentrate and say that 3 will definitely have Revan back in it, as either the main character or a major factor in the story, which is awesome.
My predictions? Well, I just hope that Obsidian or whoever the developer has ample time to complete the game in its full, as LA reportedly hurried 2, causing it to have that kinda empty ending, etc. But I think/hope that you are revan again and travel into the dark and great sith empire in the unknown regions of the galaxy, where you can either bring it down or take it over, and fight or have the exile join along the way. Also, bring back bastila and co. too, that would be awesome.

Game video recording
I wish that they'll add the record-enable function to the game so we can record the game as we play along.
The reason for that is that I want to make my own custom movie as I play the game along. . I wish that I can go back to play KOTOR I and record the game while playing. After finishing the game, I can just sit back, replay, and enjoy the romantic movie I just make ("The Love Story of Revan and Bastilla" or "The Love Story of Revan and Carth").
That would be awesome !!!

Would be a bit gimmicky and another Jedi Order destruction story, would, frankly, be boring!
No, the Jedi Order needs to be sorted out for the next game IMO, and the "True Sith" storyline has to brought to a close. KotOR II was about explaining, to an extent, Revan's story after KotOR I. III is now set the massive task of closing off the series and the story.
To be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing it done properly and having something rediculous like 70 hours run-through time (first time obviously, perhaps 50 if you skip areas). As long as it keeps running throughout that time.
hopefully in the next KOTOR the graphics will improve (xbox players will know what im talking about) and more saber on saber combat sequences
I think the opposite, they should just be bloody epic when you do get in one.
At least there should only be 3-5 proper light-saber wielding enemies, perhaps a few multiple battles. But I want a decent 5 minute saber fight, maybe change the rules completely to make them a bit more film-like.
I have also heard kotor3 wont be released for xbox but for xbox 2 and will come out in november or december.
If it was then we would have had a press relese and it would have been at E3. So it is highly unlikley that its coming out November/December. If it is then it would be 2006 November/December.
I have one, perhaps stupid, prediction. In the coming game, you play as Revan AND the Exile. Other party members depend on the alignments of those two, ie. for Revan light female, Carth is around.
By the way: Do we know if Kotor 3 is still being scheduled?
Like I had in my thread I'm not sure BUT, I do know that Obsidian is currently not working on it.
I'm not even sure that they will make this one.
Also there are rumors that Bioware AND Obsidian will most likely make it together.

Plus it would have been at E3 as one of the 360 games.
As for my ideas I would like to battle at least 2 enemys at a time (a la Maul vs Obi Wan and Qui-Gon and Dooku vs Anakin and Obi Wan) that would be sweet. 1 saber for one enemy and the other saber for the other enemy is what I mean or something like that.
