(1) HOTKEYS...HOTKEYS...HOTKEYS for force power!
(I am tire of having to manually select the forces whenever facing the enemy. I just want to hit "1" - Choke active. "2" - Heal active. "3" - Battle Meditation active, etc.)
(2) Make the enemy jedi using force powers more (in KOTOR I, almost all the dark jedi used force powers whenever you encounter them. In KOTOR II, rarely do you see dark jedi used force powers on you. I know they are trying to make the game resemble the Star War movie, in which lightsaber fighting dominates most of the fights, and this is a shame!!! The game should have something unique of its own.). Remember that the power of a jedi is not in his/her lightsaber alone
(3) I prefer the jedi robes in KOTOR I over the jedi robes in KOTOR II. The robes in KOTOR I looks nice and neat while the robes in KOTOR II are soooo bunky, and it makes you look fat (the Handmaiden looks better in her normal clothes than in her jedi's robe). It's probably because the designers wanted to make the game resemble the Star War movie again. Once again, I don't like this because it would be nice to see the game have something unique of its own.
(4) Please, make the next game completed (I know you are probably sick of hearing it)
This is probably unique to me, although some others may think so, but I didn't like how in some battles, after it was over, those in my active party complained about doing it. They explained it in KotOR II, but I still thought it was kind of lame. How about instead if you initiate some battle, like against a civilian for example, just because they wouldn't give you something, one of your active party members can say, "I'll have no part in this," and they stand back and let you do it.

General whatever is sith, but not a force adept or anything. He was taught the how to use lightsabers by Count Dukou, but cannot feel the force. He is an alien in a droid plaing, his body was lost and there was only organs and Palpatine decided to let him have control of the Droid army.

I think that everyone would like the idea of sending them but I don't know if its that practical. LucasArts will do whatever they want in a game. If they are making one they've made it already. Also I personally don't know who to contact and how so for me its a little pointless. I could see us contacting them and having them read it but we are adding all the time. Most of what we say can be boiled down even if they differ on small points. The biggest problem we have is that we want a finished game with a better game engine and a better- less restricting -story. The story will change depending on who you ask but the wants are the same. Besides writers are not going to give a creative dam about what we some fans want in a KOTOR III. If they were satisfyed with KOTOR II & I they will probably make another and another until we the fans stop buying. Not buying is the only power we have in this case. Let's face it they come out with KOTOR III tomarrow the majority of us on this thread will buy it. More on this KOTOR II part of the forum. Not to mention all the fans who don't read/post on this forum. I'm not saying its hopeless.. oh wait I think I am. I'm not saying it to be mean but I don't see the point of trying to get Lucas Arts to look. I think we should/will just keep talking about it until it comes out.
Bao-Dur: I think he wanted us to give up the Genreal to his poorly trained collection of bounty hunters.
Atton: Ah. well that would explain it. Which one do you want?
Bao-Dur: I'll take the stupid one who decided to threaten us rather than shoot us when he had the chance.
I like all your ideas including the person (I cant remeber who and im to lazy to go look) who said hilts. Im tired of those hilts we need custimized or just a different variety. And Darth Fletcher I like the ideas of bringing back old characters but you have to admit we need new ones. I know "you" guys like the droids but im getting tired of them. T3 only had 1 part (2 if you include the epilogue) that he was usefull for. HK, well you can go the whole game without him.
Besides does anyone know when KOTOR III is coming out cuz I havent heard anything about it yet? I have looked all over game sites and cant find anything for/on it.
Another thing we need completely different planets. Much larger maps.
Just plain more variety of things.
(Answer my ? about when KOTOR III is coming out.
But the droids, at the very least T3, are important for the continuation of the story. They are, if you like, the R2-D2 and C-3PO of the KotOR series - particularly since T3 knows all about whats going on, but is programmed not to reveal anything, and HK has doesn't, having received a memory wipe. Kind of obvious parellel really, and a tiny bit boring like you say.
I've never been a fan of HK, but I would appreciate T3 being made a bit more powerful, a character worth taking around. Perhaps more skills based areas are in order. I like his character though, in peaceful areas I would often take him out, just from a role-playing point of view! He's my astromech droid after all!
You know I didnt think of it before but T3 could be better if he had more parts in the story. Hopefully they reveal some stuff about the secret message with Bastila in it and some other things T3 is keeping to himself.
I still say HK is useless.
By the way what was with T3 almost frying HK in the security room onboard the Ebon Hawk?
HK wanted to access the navigational computer. T3 was instructed to keep people out of it, and was afraid HK would figure out how to access it. So, T3 attacked him.

This isn't everything, but it's all I could think of right now
The new KOTOR should be bigger and better than both the games before it put together. My number one concern is that they actually finish the game. If that means delaying a shipping date or two then so be it. KOTOR had a couple holes and too many bugs, and KOTOR II was a complete joke because they cut so much from the storyline that would have made it an awesome game.
The levels need to be bigger and more expansive. There can't just be three or four different enviroments, there should be like 10 or 12. Xbox 360 will be fast enough that loading screens shouldn't be that big of a deal. They should include other planets.
Corascant goes without saying. There's been two KOTOR's and neither of them have gone to the Republics core world.
Kashyyk should come back into play, maybe even with Zaalbar as the head of the Wookies.
Tatooine woud be nice. Maybe have an abandoned Anchorhead with baby Krayt Dragons living inside of it. Then as you finish the level, the Hutts move into it either with your help or as a side effect of your actions
Rakata should be attempting to get into the Republic, and the character should go there again.
The gameplay should be slightly different. I'd like to see the enviorments be a bit more non-linear. You should be able to jump to get over bumps and rock, or climb up on top of rocks and stuff. I saw a video of KOTOR about 6 months before it was released and it showed that you could switch between turn-based combat, and real time. I think that should be in KOTOR III to make it more exciting to the average fan, and to break older fans out of the same old-same old turn based combat.
I think Feats should be more available in the next game. I understand you have to keep them scarce, but in KOTOR you couldn't get anywhere near all the Feats, and then in KOTOR II they added MORE! I think you should get:
Guardians- 2 Feats every level, 1 Force Power every 2 levels
Sentinels- 1 Feat, 1 Force Power
Consulars- 1 Feat every two levels, and 2 Force Powers every level
There should be new Feats that allow you to use different kinds of weapons, like a blaster and a lightsaber together. Or a Feat that allows you to target multiple enemies at a time to create badass combo moves. There should be more Force Powers as well. They need more extensions of existing Powers for the higher levels. They should make Force Crush a chain of powers. Something like: You can get Force Crush at level 18, at level 24 it continues to Crush them multiple times until they're dead then it throws they're body at the next target. At level 30 you should be able to Crush everyone around you, but it should affect your party as well. I'd like to see the Light side get some more offensive Force Powers. I don't know what they'd be, but it's hard as a Light sider to use the offensive Dark side powers because they cost a lot.
The storyline should have a lot to do with Kreia's speech about how Revan may have been sacrificing himself to save the Republic. LucasArts should bring that into the game by making the character a fugitive of the Republic because he/she did something that made him/her wanted even though it was in the best interest of the galaxy.
You should be able to choose if you want to start on the Light side or the Dark side obviously because you won't be a child when the story starts.
It should come back to the same basic plot, but having to do the same exact things are stupid. The Sith Lords you fight would react differently if you adhere to the Jedi Code or if you become a Sith.
Your party should have mostly new faces, but I'd like to see Carth, and Bastila put back into the mix. Mission Vao all grown up would be interesting but not as a party member. Atton would be hilarious if he came back and started hitting on Bastila. HK-47 is a given. You're party's allegiances should be transferable so that you can bring them to the Dark side or redeem them to the Light side, but their attitudes should change too. As you become a prestige class or higher, you should be able to take one of your party members that you're training as your Padawan/Apprentice and they should have an immediate boost in abilities as well as some other affects.
Most of my ideas about KOTOR III are about cosmetic things:
You should be able to pull up your hood if you're in a robe, and everyone should be able to wear the robes (but only Jedi/Sith get the bonuses)
There should be different species in the game that your character can be (i.e. Iridonian, Twilek, Mandalorian, whatever species Yoda is, etc.)
You should have more control over what your player looks like. Is he/she tall/medium/short? Buff/Toned/Skinny? Hair Style? That type of thing, and it should have some affect on how characters react to you.
Customization of your weapons should make the weapon look different. Like a certain kind of lens in your lightsaber should make the beam glow differently, or the type of power cell you use makes the hilt different.
As you fall more towards the Dark side you should have glowing yellow eyes, and your conversation responses should get darker and darker as you fall further (visa versa with Light side players).
I seem to remember in KOTOR I that when you became darker there were darker and darker responses. I mean there were just plain evil choices this time in KOTOR II but in KOTOR I they were suttle but evil comments. I seem to remember that you didn't have to be out and out mean to get evil but that once you were different choices were available. I also liked in the end of KOTOR I that Bastilla tries to recruit you and that you do if you are DS. I mean barely anything like that in KOTOR II. At end of I (DS) you were Dark Lord of the Sith ruling over a massive unstoppable armada but in II you are maybe rescued to do what? I just noticed that the game play was different between the two and I don't really know why because I can't really explain it.
Bao-Dur: I think he wanted us to give up the Genreal to his poorly trained collection of bounty hunters.
Atton: Ah. well that would explain it. Which one do you want?

The Sith and The Republic most join forces temporarily to stop the extinction of the Galaxy. The "True Sith" and what's left of the Republic are at war. Revan and The Exile died in the outer rim trying to delay their invasion. Bastilla along with Juhani is Trying to rebuild the Jedi Council along with the "Lost Jedi" of KOTOR2 (Handmaiden or Briana, Mira, Atton, Bao Dur and Disciple or Mical) to try and preserve the Jedi teachings and gather Knights to defend the Republic from being conquered or annahilated. Yuthura Ban from KOTOR is the leader of the "fallen Jedi" or Jedi "corrupted" by Revan but Nevertheless tried to rejoin with Bastilla's council. Both are at odds and un united and the TS is slowly conquering the Galaxy. While this is happening a trainee Republic Soldier who survives a crash landing on a unfamilliar planet (Unknown World from KOTOR) is rescued by an old man. The old man (Jolee Bindo) senses an enormous affinity for the Force within the young soldier and trains him in the Jedi way with hopes that he will help unite the Jedi and turn the tied of the TS Invasion.
I can't come up with a way for Juhani to come back But Jolee is Kolee. He has the right to come back and he's probably the only person capable of outwitting Revan (If You played DS of course) into thinking he was dead. As for the DS LS drama....that can be solved. What I'm proposing is a threat so great that either way u went with your previous pc's the affected people would have to unite for survival. Lemme make this simplier. A country is having a Nasty, Long Lasting civil war and it's about to be invaded by another country....wouldn't you think that the smart thing to do is put your differences aside until the outer imposing threat is gone. Maybe by mixing them together it really wont matter if Reven or Exile were DS or LS.

I agree, I think everyone wants a bit of Jolee again probably one of the best character's so far - kind of a good Kreia almost?
I also think they should throw you (more or less) straight into the story as well. Opening crawl aside, the introduction to KotOR II was a bit naff. Didn't like the cutscene spelling everything out to you - would work with the crash landing idea because you wouldn't realise too much about that planet, can bring in other events more subtley.
Yeah, they should fit you in the story a bit more, instead of you just being one of those people who are just there.

i would like to be able to customise a whole party of jedi knights, i mean a WHOLE party, maybe 9 or 10 jedi all following me at once instead of just two plus myself
She's got a smile that, it seems to me, reminds me of childhood memories, where everything is as fresh as the bright blue sky.

If you play as Revan with the DS ending, Juhani and Jolee are dead, so Revan would have to have come out of it a light-sider, and Jolee really wouldn't have much reason to oppose Revan. Although it's possible to say Revan didn't deal the killing blow.
And you're forgetting about gaining the upper hand and long-standing hatred. People are willing to do a lot for their own means. Just because you're in a civil war and something bigger and nastier comes out of the shadows doesn't mean both sides will join forces, even temporarily, to oppose it. Sometimes, it happens (real world example, Communist Chinese and Nationalist Chinese joining forces to oppose the Japanese invasion; once the war was over, they began fighting again, and the Communist Chinese won quite handily). But it doesn't always work like that. The Sith (not the true Sith) may be content to let the True Sith weaken and destroy the Republic and they won't have to lift a finger. In Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, for example; when the Dominion invaded the Alpha Quadrant, the Federation and Klingons fought them, but the Romulans were perfectly willing to sit back and watch, despite the very real threat the Dominion posed to them. Also, think about the Yuuzhan Vong: they attacked the New Republic and, at first, left the Empire relatively alone. Not that the Empire couldn't have been a real threat to them, but the Empire had no desire to tempt destruction without gaining something, and the Yuuzhan Vong didn't want a war on two fronts. Sometimes it takes more than just a common enemy to unite old foes. If the Sith saw an opportunity to, perhaps, gain something from the Republic's weakened condition (being attacked by the True Sith), then they'd be perfectly obliged to wait until the Republic is close to desperation, then they might help, only to take from the Republic what they *helped* to protect.

I think that the idea of starting as a child should be for a different game at a different time. To tell you the truth, kotor 2 was supposed to be an in_between game that wasn't supposed to reveal so much. that is why it sucks. but i think that to start the 3rd game in another crash is pretty stupid. basically kotor1 starts off with a ship that is going to crash, kotor 2 starts off with another ship that is about to blow up. both games start with a ship that's about to blow up because they were attacked! the 3rd game shouldn't have another ship that was attacked.
in the 1 and 2 game, jedis talked about various hidden jedi training grounds.
so far only dantooine and telos along with the jedi temple has been found. what about the others? maybe they should start off with a very hidden jedi base in another world that is left alone by spacers or anybody else because it has no good resources. very few jedi live in there. but (either the sith or the true sith) invade the planet. your first priority, SURVIVE. so you go through the various tunnels and places in the base to survive. your jedi master and some other person survive and leave on some ship, not the ebon hawk cause that would just raise more questions and plus it would be stupid.
the next planet you go is Ossus, an old ancient jedi planet that has natural force sensitives that live there. those force sensitives are primitives called the Ysanna. the jedi ruins have hidden treasures and stuff. you discover the jedi master in that planet. he is a neti, tree like alien. I'm not making up the planet ossus or the species neti. If you want know more about the neti species or the planet Ossus then look them up in the books called starars the essential guide to planets and moons or the essential guide to alien species. well anyways you learn or train from the neti jedi master called ood bnar. I'm not going to get specific so let's go to the next part. In kotor 2 kreia says that Atris had to die in order to destroy the corrupted jedi teachings she would have taught if the fake sith were destroyed by her. in my idea of a story, your character and his mentor are on a dangerous quest to discovering who the true sith are.
since you kill all the sith lords in kotor 2, the sith empire is collapsing no matter if you were ls or ds. in the story you and your mentor search for jedi ruins and sith ruins and maybe more hidden jedi training grounds. if ls you discover the true sith and destroy them alonside with bastila and revan or with the exile, or if ds you kill your mentor and destroy the last jedis and try to destroy the true sith or unite them.
I have researched prehistory of the sith and found that they really weren't sith.
After the first dark jedi fell to the ds and his followers they were banned and traveled to korriban. Their titles called Sith lords was taken from the native intelligent species called the Sith. The species Sith probably lived on korriban and history states that the dark jedis subjugated the sith and possibly killed them and stole their name. so the true sith in kotor series can be that native intelligent species that went underground and built their own secret empire to take control of the galaxy. Maybe these intelligent species called the sith are force sensitive like the rakatan empire.
Kreia was like darth sidious who knew all the aspects of the force, not just what the jedis think of the force. Only thing is that kreia wasn't in the darkside at the end of the game. she was a nuetral jedi because the jedi were corrupted and the sith were stupid to how they live their traditions of trying to control the galaxy. in kotor 2 it was all about how kreia showed or tried to show the exile what was the real threat to the republic and the fake sith empire. in the game she says that -where did revan find or get those sith teachings? to me she is trying to say that revan probably got these sith teachings from the true sith because malachor 5 or korriban or dxun has no sith teachings, only ruins and relics. in starwars ep3 palpatine says to anakin -if he has ever heard of Darth plagus the white. this dark lord was the mentor of palpatine. but this darth plagus was not in the history of the fake sith tombs or history of the sith. so maybe in the last game of kotor the true sith possibly escaped destruction from the jedi and went underground. It's possible that palpitine originated from the true sith. so in kotor 3 revan might destroy parts of the true sith while other parts of it escaped.
You know guys, some of you people are putting in a lot of though into this and some of you are just going with what the first 2 KOTORs started out like. I for one am tired of smashing my head on a wall and not remembering jack. I dont like starting off as a friggin youngling.
Another thing if you started fighting Sith in the middle of a city with tons of people(Tatooine 3 sith dual KOTOR I) then people should be frightened scared to death running in circles until they faint because there is a Jedi/Sith fight going on. The people on tatooine just kept walking, same on Korriban KOTOR I.
I want to at least start out at level 15.
New Force powers to and larger maps, more planets(different).
