This is how Kotor 3 is going to be!
This is how Kotor 3 is going to be!
Ok this is what kotor 3 should be!!! I've read everyone else's comments and putting that all together this is what i've come up with. Flawless storyline...in fact so good that George Lucas should make a movie on this.
Ok before i continue (very long post - WARNING!!!) my post may consist of some minor technical discrepancies that will be caught by KOTOR geeks and admirers (so i guess its not flawless after all!) so I apologise in advance.
The cut out material in KOTOR 2 was cut out for a reason...they wanted to incorporate some of it in KOTOR 3 (my uneducated/educated guess!).
THE STORY
Ok so here goes:
The story is about the True Sith vs. the remaining Jedi-Sith combo. All the jedi were eliminated and only Revan, The Exile and the force sensitive party members remained. The force sensitives had a taste of both the light side and dark side (Bastila, Visas, Handmaiden, Atris etc) taught each other and never found anymore force sensitives in that galaxy to teach (based on the fact that the Exile was the last jedi and the remaining sith and jedi counsel were killed at the end of KOTOR 2).
[Note: I am assuming that ppl who played LS Revan and Exile...well u played the wrong side...lol. The exile even if played LS would have seen both worlds and realized that one needed to be proficient in both to defeat the "True Sith" in the Outer Rim]
Continuing on, the remaining force sensitives went on to bring about order in the part of the galaxy/universe they were in (i.e. all the planets visited in KOTOR 1 and 2) and brought about a new order/(Republic)/(whatever) as that is what Revan and the Exile wanted/(should have done). The Exile while realizing the threat of the True Sith in the Outer Rim could not be ignored went in search of Revan to find out/help him.
The Outer Rim
When the Exile entered the Outer Rim he was struck by some sort of force he had never felt before which caused him to land on the nearest planet in order to meditate. Upon landing he found Revan singlehandedly fighting a group of True Sith masters (video cutscene) and was then cornered into a situtation he couldn’t win and was then saved by the Exile who joined the battle and helped Revan. Revan was impressed with the Exile’s command of the force and vice versa. They both decided that they would need to unite against the True Sith and prevent them from destroying the order being created by Bastila and the rest. Now in order to do so they realized they were going to need help and study the teachings of the True Sith from resources available (use your imagination here). While going from planet to planet in the Outer Rim and while killing the True Sith together they came across a “True Sith” child who had not yet been taught how to yield the force but whose blood was just filled with midichlorians i.e. think of it as chosen one or whatever. Revan and the Exile then decided to teach this child the ways of the force (the light side dark side powers combo). So they took the child as their padwan/apprentice and started teaching him but soon they found that the “True Sith Overlord/Emperor” knew of the chosen one and had sent out his minions to kill Revan, the Exile and the “chosen one.” In order to prevent this from happening, Revan and the Exile put the child in a space pod and sent him to Malachor V/(or wherever Bastila and the rest were) along with all their studyings of the “True Sith” so that Bastila, Atris, Visas, Handmaiden etc. could complete the child’s training.
[Note: For all you who wanted to train as a child and go through the whole padawan/apprentice to master here’s the opportunity]
Back to the known galaxy where Bastila, Atris and the rest are.
Ok for those of you who are wondering…”hey wait a minute, I killed Atris back in KOTOR 2!” Well as she was in the room where all the Sith holocrons were when you killed her/left her to die, she somehow managed to use the dark side power to regain her life, so there.
Ok back to the “chosen one” aka. Neo [Matrix reference]…lmao. So as a padawan you get to train under all those ppl and while training u get sent on various missions and bloom into a young beautiful/handsome adult (hint at romance opportunities with Atris/Handmaiden/Visas/Bastila/someone else?). Oh I probably forgot to mention that you play the chosen one…so here goes…you play the “chosen one.”
[Note: Since there were no force sensitives left u don’t encounter any force sensitives in battle on the missions you get sent on. So I assume these will be easy missions/puzzles where u kill kath hounds, help/kill ppl, dance for hutts etc.]
Now, everything is cool but suddenly Revan and the Exile send a message to Bastila, Atris, Visas etc. that while fighting in the Outer Rim, some “True Sith” managed to escape and were in Korriban. So now this triggers some sort of mission(s) where u have to eliminate this threat…blah blah blah…meet the ancient Sith spirits in their tombs…and interestingly enough find Kreia/Darth Traya’s spirit who appears only to you and Revan and the Exile (think of her as some sort of walkie talkie to facilitate communication between Revan, the Exile and yourself). So anyway you finish the elimination of the “True Sith” on Korriban and then find yourself ready to head out to the Outer Rim to assist Revan and the Exile. You get to take with you HK47 (obviously) and maybe some other force sensitives along (visas, handmaiden etc.).
[Note: I haven’t quite figured out how to work LS and DS options as everyone now is a bit of both or atleast knows of both ways. Maybe Atris can be neutral, Bastila and Atton - LS, Visas and Handmaiden – DS and they each comment on your actions. Just a thought].
Back to the Outer Rim
Ok so u join Revan and the Exile and become their apprentice and go on missions for them with your sidekicks whom you brought along in the Ebon Hawk 2…lol…some spaceship…who cares. As this happens, it leads you to different worlds in the Outer Rim and you learn more about the “True Sith” and their powers and become more and more powerful as you visit each planet with occasional visits from Kreia’s spirit to teach what she had learned from the Sith holocrons when she was alive.
I guess there could be some sort of drama between Revan and the Exile later on as to who the “True Sith” Emperor should be. This drama would occur soon after the “True Sith Emperor” in the Outer Rim is defeated and either Revan or the Exile become engulfed with the “true” dark side. So once again you choose a side and kill the True Sith Emperor and end of story.
Other Stuff
- nudity would be nice (that’s my testosterone speaking) but I guess since this has to be playable by kids (in order to increase sales), at least ladies in bikinis and thongs would be nice.
- Being able to ride animals (suggested by someone on this forum)…I guess its alright given Obi Wan was riding the lizard in episode 3
- Better graphics…who really cares! This game was always about the story line. Better graphics wouldn’t hurt though.
- Less bugs…surprisingly I’ve never encountered any bugs when I played both KOTOR and KOTOR 2. I guess I was lucky.
- Better looking Sith Lords – need scarier ones.
- Less running around from Point A to Point B (need some sort of device where you can beam between locations already visited).
- More of HK47!!! That dude is a blast.
- Did I mention nudity?
- More encounters with sith masters/lords with a sub plot for each of them (thus builds up the tension)
- A rainbow coloured lightsaber!!! I am Darth CareBear (Just kidding…haha)
- Maybe a reference to the Star Wars movies??!!
So based on the above what are your thoughts. I thought I had a really good beginning there but my creativity just wandered towards the end.

lol i dont think nudity will make it into the game but other than that i think its a pretty good idea.I can see you put some time into this but I dont think it will make the game . Hahaha nudity, that will keep me laughing for some time.
Add l Skinflute l (Lower case L's) if you think you can beat me 1v1 snipers in Halo 2.

Some ideas in that whole thing you call a story have merit and might actually be in the 3rd one.As of now there is and wont be any concrete proof until the 3rd one is out.Just speculation.
My take on it is simple, you either get to be Revan or the Exile, one light and one dark. The story could run both sides either Revan light or dark and vise versa the Exile light or dark, whichever you pick you kill that character and all his goons from #1 and #2.
If they do not give you that type of options then I think the story will be resolved something like Revan was light and the Exile was dark. There are a few points/hints through out the whole story about as you mentioned "the threat from beyond" and Revans history stuff pops up when you listen to Kreia. Also Kreia mentions when she looks at you she see' Death and when she looks at Revan she can see power. Those lines to me gives you a hint at whats to follow.Again its all up in the air and we wont know.
As for anything really wrong with the game or wants in Kotor3, well just fix the bugs, both 1 and 2 had horrible issues for alot of people, I fixed my 2 minor "vertical sync problems" but other then that its pretty solid, both 1 and 2.

maybe the reference to star wars should be the "chosen one" child himself...at the end of the game, the chosen one makes the decision (LS) or has the decision forced upon him/her (DS) to become one with the Force again until he is reborn at a later time, which is to become the chosen one of the star wars movies
Thats damn good story i would never of been able to make something that good a couple of things which i didnt understand but apart from that its amazing theres just one but.........................that theres like records of what happens in known space so the outter rim thing will work but just it may cross over with the records

This is probably the most ridiculous story line I have ever herd. I have to say that the nudity part was too immature, and there were flaws in your story line.
Flaw#1. There is only one master, and there is only one apprentice, the code forbids, no more and no less.
Flaw#2. Atris wasn't dark sided enough to even use a health restore power like the one you listed. AND how can you use the force when you are completly dead.
Flaw#3. Atris was a jedi, infact she was a part of the council, so please do not count her as one of the force sensitives, she was a jedi master.

Another thing that troubles me about the above scenario is this. I find it really hard to believe that out of the 1000s of systems in the Republic, that there are no more Force sensitives to be found. Especially when you consider the small number of remaining Jedi available to find them. In fact, I think that searching for force sensitives in an attempt to rebuild the order could be one of the branching story lines. Let's just lose this player character starts out as a blank slate crap, it's been done twice now that horse is dead.

Obiviously you didn't read my post about the nudity part being a joke. As for being immature...

Response to you flaws (Note: I'm no star wars expert/geek and I had even mentioned that there could be technical flaws that would be caught be KOTOR geeks and admirers):

Code shmode...do u really have to get technical. I'm sure you can find many flaws in the comics and movies. So mt answer to that is ... whatever. Again like I said, there were flaws in the story line. You obviously missed the big picture.

What i meant by force sensitives was someone who was attuned to the force. I didn't want to classify them as either Jedi or Sith because as i had mentioned earlier they were now some sort of combo of the two.

I may not have clarified this but i probably should have stated that i was limiting the "no more force sensitves around" to the planets visited in KOTOR 1 and 2.
Also i should probably re-define force sensitives to the trained jedi/sith that were left alive at the end of KOTOR 2. I will admit my mistake of not using the term "force sensitive" in the right context.
As for the player starting out as a blank slate...well after readings postings of the members of this forum, a lot of ppl wanted to undergo a padawan role...etc. I just gave the ppl what they wanted. But i'm not sure what u would suggest...do u recommend that u start of as a master?

I'm talking about not having a player character(PC) that either starts out not knowing anything about the Force(KotoR). Or a player character that has very little knowledge of the Force(KotoR2). I am by no means saying that the player character should start out as a Jedi Master/Sith Lord. We already have 2 games where the PC is for all intents and purposes a neophyte. We don't need another game that starts like that, especially where the characters are more than 5 years old.

@Darth wrath- yes you would have to choose the one who has a stronger connection to the force.
@fjdude- well, I didn't read it all the way I was doing something else.

wait i dont know to much about the whole star was i know a bit about the sith and i think i read something saying that Darth Bane changed the sith teachings to one master and one apprentice because when his sith apprentices all wanted the title of the dark lord they all didnt follow his orders and then they were all killed by the jedi and Bane escaped and decided to change the sith teachings to one apprentice (and if you know the history of the sith like freedon nadd and everyone fighting and betraying eachother for the title of Dark Lord you can see why)
so then he took on the apprentice of Palpatine
so then after a long time he passes the title to him and then the movies start
