one of my professions is miner and i usually have my wow bible with me its been a long time since i played and now that im playing again i am away from my book i was woundering if anyone knew where the best place to go mine silver in durotar or the xroads area? If nobody knows you know where a good site to go to that talks about this stuff. I did a search on google and came up empty handed.
Well I am a miner (300) but that is alliance so not much mining in barrens. However, i did once see some silver down by those pirates close to Ratchet.

According to thott the best place for silver is in wetland/thousand needles. Hillbrad foothills is also good. The barrens is to low level to be any good for silver mining. You will just have to go up some levels and get to 1k needles to mine.

To add something constructive to this post: places with ogres are usually filled with good mining, examples: the one in Loch modan, the one in Duskwood, and Alterac mouintains
