Water trial 1 is prety simple but 2, 3 and 4 can be very complicated, but there is a little trick, put you party on "Wait" orders, then with one member (call him A) operate the bottons to open the entry gates, then move only another member of the party (call him B) to the instance you just open with A, then, swicth back to A, close the entry and open the exit with the bottons, switch to B and voila free to move with out must to do all the moves inside the instanced
