start from the saved point

Hi all, I was searching for a dungeon siege forum and found this...it seams the best one.

My question is. I save the game before a fight, however my caracter dies, how can I start from the point that i've saved, because it starts always from the teleporter..even when i exit the game and play again

well there is something usefull to, the solution i use Vs the final fights of the game. just cast a portal spell nest to the room of the encounter, so if any of your members die, you can run to teleport and gate, usefull to dont restart a long fight versus Bosses who have 90000 HP and tons of armor and resistances

I'm glad you asked this, I was wondering the same thing? I always save, but then if I die, well - I just end up back where I was in town. I don't understand. What's the point of saving if it just autosaves for you and always uses the autosave?

when you die it auto saves. your characters are saved when they are back alive at the teleporter so that you can speak with the necro and get your gear back

You can also teleport back (if you cast teleport b4 dying like Dooku said) and get your body back where it has fallen. Saves money.

It really is strange tho, not having the option of starting back at a prior saved game. Makes it more challenging, however.
