cannot find Azunite artefact

I got stuck in the Azunite desert looking for the artefact. I have already obtained the mirror and the map, but the map is not making me any wiser. The arrow points to north, but when I go to the northern part of the desert there is a Small Cannyon which seems like a dead end to me. Above me there is a ledge and I can see locations with enemies on north, east & west, but there is no way how to get up there and the tunnel to north is blocked by stones. I searched the whole desert so now the map is bordered everywhere. I really have no idea where to go next. The map shows there should be a cave or a tunnel somewhere south that would take me to the cave, but cannot find it anywhere.

Please help me someone.

btw I searched the forums and didn't find any clues about this topic so I started a thread myself

yes, there is a cavern you must reach, inside that cavern there are some statues with her arms rised, put the mirror on the top of the one who dont have a mirror already and interconect the light-beams with the other statues to open the door (well, infact to open the mountain

)
