i cant seem to find a gift for her. can someone explain to me where the gift is or which npc to get it from. i noticed the guy in the Inn has something but i cant get it either. i have some elvin ale if that helps

this is a part of interconected quests all over the game, in order to dont be a spoiler here, i will only told you one thing, she want a FLOWER form aman'lu City

PS: weee, found the third part of the shield, only just one more to finish and face Valdis

Lelani's Sorrow is a giant trading quest that spans the entire game. In other words, you keeping taking one item and trading it with NPCs for a different set of items until you finally have what she wants.

If you've already gotten the elven ale, you will not be able to continue this quest until

yea, i am up in amanlu now so i have done a few trades to get it somewhat going. its a pain though, it doesnt really tell you who to talk to about trading.

i have a problem with this quest, i did the first two trades when i was in the second chapter, then i almost forgot it (i left the game for a few months also).

i got to the third chapter and realized the whole trades but i don't seem to find where i put the elven ale.

do you know if these quest items can be sold? i don't remember if i did that, maybe i sold it with other magic reagents and i'm thinking that i probably wont be able to finish this quest

The items from this quest can not be sold. But every item you drop on the ground will wanish if you leave the game. I have got rid of Arnith's staff this way. Maybe you dropped it accidentally?
