Hero amulet vanished

Post by youngmc1976 »

Somehow this unique item dissapeared from my inventory after dying in the elven shrine. Does anyone know if this is a bug, or if i can get it back?

Funny thing about the hero amulet thats supposed to be all important.
Its not. you can sell it in fact.
The real Amulet that you need later in the game is firmly stamped in your quest log like like all other Main quest objects.
Dont worry about it.

You know, you really, really should put things like that with a big SPOILER up top, before you write them. I honestly didn't want to know this.

Did C06alt's post get edited, or am I just reading it differently? It doesn't seem like much of a spoiler to me.

I thought the amulet I currently have was important. Suddenly I'm told that it isn't, I can even sell it, and that the real amulet I need is one I'll get, later. This counts to me like important information I wouldn't have if I didn't read that post--so, a spoiler.

I guess some people are confusing the hero's amulet with Drevin's Medallion. Pointing out that they're not the same, and that the amulet is just a regular piece of equipment, seems like useful information to know. The only thing it changes is that you can now save some room in your storage chest. It doesn't give anything away about what happens in the game.
and that the real amulet I need is one I'll get, later.
But "later" is the end of the tutorial! And after Drevin goes on and on about it, it's hardly a spoiler that his medallion is going to play a role in the game.
