I have yet to play a game with no widescreen support. That's pretty dumb if you ask me. Anyone know a way to fix this?

Hello..

You can set the resolution to what ever you want in the DungeonSiege2.ini file found in your documents folder in My games/Dungeon Siege II the text might go a bit funny though... I've not tried it yet but I just read about it someplace I cant remember..

I play on widescreen!

I play DS II on an Alienware 7700 with a 17" widescreen, resolution 1280x1024 and it fills the screen and looks great!

Not sure if this helps, but I also have a Dell wide screen that reverts to a standard 4:3 format for almost all resolutions--and Dell says this is entirely proper! (I haven't tried DS II on Dell--Dell is now on my NEVER BUY AGAIN list.)

As Bubblegum says, just go to "My Documents/My Games/Dungeon Siege 2/DungeonSiege2.ini" and change "width" and "height" to your desired value. I play it on 1680 x 1050 myself. It renders everything correctly and not stretched. It has full widescreen support, but it somehow just can't be set ingame...

It will never look as good as setting the game to a true widescreen resolution.

It is! Besides, the stretching thing is an option you can set on your video card and it has nothing to do with the screen. Not that I like Dell a lot, but this should not be a reason not to buy Dell anymore!
