So i have the staff and i freed Arnith, the quest says he might be at the temple of istaura and isteru (ruins just ouside the floating islands) in northern vai'lutra forest. Im at the temple but dont see anyone, no buttons to push, no secret walkways.... any hints anyone?

You can track him down in the Temple of Istaura and Isteru, near the Elen'lu Isles teleporter, he'll politely ask for his staff back.

he's not there.. (in the temple of isamaru..etc, just outside the isles), its just empty

Also, he will appear on your map (tab) as a white star, all secondary quest locations appear.
