"The best Jedi are the ones who are still human." -Revan
Revan died for saying that (in a 'round about sort of way).
The Sith and Jedi codes are both alike. The Jedi believe there is no ignorance, only knowledge. Knowledge is ignorance. Ignorance is a measure of knowledge. Therefore, there is no difference. One who is smart is not ignorant. "There is no peace, there is only passion." Once again, passion is a measure of peace. Low peace is high passion. The entire Sith and Jedi codes are copies of each other, just reworded to sound negative.
When one spends time thinking about it, you will see it. The world is not black and white, it is colorful with semitones included.

Hmmm... Out of curiosity whats so great about LS?
Well as far as dark side goes the powers.I don't like spending time doing Knight Speed this or Force Valor that. I want RAW power and the DS gives me that and more.Force crush appears to be the strongest Force power in the game and I'm sure even LSiders even agree it's an amazing sight.I don't go full dark until the end of the game...I usually play it gray (Making decisions I'd make if it were really me in the T.V.). However I rather enjoy killing off everyone I can...They just get in the way. I don't feel bad either...Considering it's a game and they are not real.
To make things short I like control over things...And again Raw Power...DS gives me that.
Although you may find this odd coming from the mouth of someone who obviously is a light side lover but I hate the Jedi. I think they are too apathetic. I also thing there is flaw in there logic. All our lives we've been told to follow our passions but yet the Jedi Code tells us not to use our passions or our emotions. I hate how they just sit there conversing when action is needed to be done.
I agree but I would be niether of Jedi or Sith, I would be a gray jedi like Jolee in Kotor I. Don't hear a lot about the gray jedi.

I take it you read none of the weapon descriptions of the midrim wars, with Jolee bindo.
It would be nice to have a third order in the middle. Just once Id like to say "get out of my way" to the anoying pleading person whos quest takes up too much time.

Well that's what is a bit bizarre about the KoTOR games. They deliberately push the gambit between light and dark side with figures such as Jolee and, more significantly, in Kreia. Likewise, the very existence of romances, pushes the "light side" truisms a bit. The storylines of the two games both have the potential to do that as well (i.e. with the mandalorian war questions). Yet, despite all this, you still have to chose one extreme or the other. Having, a well developed middle path would be more consistent with the overarching ethos of the game. Possibly, we'll see that in a third game. Though, somehow I doubt it.

IMO, the second game challenged much more philosophy. Is the dark really so dark and the light really so light? What is the differences between them? Do you really have to kill to be evil? Stuff like this.
I was going to say how profound the Gray side Jedi were, but Im sure Ill find the riht words later. I guess they were an attempt to show the good and bad neutral jedi, maybe.
yeah, can any1 explain why they just absolutely love to play DS? i mean, i tried it on KOTOR II...got of telos nearly full-fleged DS, but i just couldnt do it. it felt wrong. personally, i could never go completely darkside. too morbid for me... them sith would just have to fight me to the death!
I hope that KOTOR III is online so I can fight u to the death, THEN YOU WILL SEE THE TRUE NATURE OF THE DARK SIDE!!
1.)Red lightsaber in my opinion are better
2.)The Sith robes are cooler looking
3.)Dark side powers are better, Im sure you have some
4.)You get to be a "Darth" which in my opinion Sith have cool names i.e., Darth Vader, Darth Tyranus, Darth Sidious, Darth Maul, Darth Nihilus etc...
So in other words I would be pure evil if Jedi and Sith were real.

well, its certainly nice to meet another DS-er... bring it
personally, id probably be a grey Jedi (if it were real). i must admit, force lightning is too cool to ignore as is making your enemies go insane. other than those powers (hehe...) i stick to LS powers.
and i highly doubt KOTOR III will be online...if they dont make a multi-player option, then they dont need to make one online.
funny how some of us talk about this as if it were real...we all know its not (i hope...), but its fun sometimes to put urself in a Jedi/Sith's shoes, huh? yep...SW has that effect on fans.

Personally, I go with the light side. The storyline flows so much better if you follow the path of the Jedi. I just feel so..."mean" when I play as a DS character.
Peace is a lie; there is only passion

Call me a Lancelot but I overwhelmingly prefer the Light side if forcced to make an extreme decision (like KOTOR) but otherwise its fun to play as the dark do-gooder. By that i refer to the alignment of chaotic good or chaotic neutral in Baldurs Gate or Neverwinter, which in the former's case allows you to be a hero but no annoying paragon of goodness (i like paladin types for their abilities, but their dialog is so annoying), or in the latter's case simply unpredictable. I had to go Light side in KOTOR because I just don't really like being mean to random people.
As for the powers i'm a huge fan of LS's stasis field and destroy droid, so I don't know what anyone is talking about that "dark side powers are stronger" because thats hardly the case; simply a matter of how one plays. I will admit to the occasional use of the Kill power and have been known to laugh a bit when my Jedi Master lifts some poor sith sap off his feet and wrings the life from him... maybe underneath it all i am a little evil (or just love the irony)

A lot of people can't seem to be able to stomach the dark side. Don't feel lonely... I think I finsihed the first game once as Dark Side... it was better to be Dark side in the first than the second though... I still think that the second game had a really blank DS.

I played KotOR I as a dark-sider. I have yet to steal KotOR II from my friend, but I will eventually...
In life I am pretty placid, I have a messed up guilt complex so if I do something bad I beat myself up about it for months, even years. So when I play games I find it so much fun to be evil. To jsut be completely out of character for me, there is something cool about telling a bunch of pixels to "F*ck off" when they tell you their kid has been stolen by orcs and they want you to get it (or whatever), becasue in real life I would be in tears over theri plight...
I just enjoy doing different things, and becase I am quite nice (IMO) In rl, being a complete and utter bastardis really, really fun...
Just givving my two credits...

I think that the dark side is pretty sweet, because it reflects what I would more or less do if I had that power: I would extort people out of money, I would Force Persuade Trandoshans to jump into bottomless pits, I would do that cool, melee weapon spinny-thing everytime someone charged me/ everytime I was standing on top of a big pile of Jedi/Royalist/Cannock bodies. The jedi seem waaaay to apathetic to me, in which I emphasise the pathetic. If they have to be so inhuman in their practices, why didn't they just make the order out of droids? Besides, if they're not allowed to love, HOW DO THEY MANAGE TO REPRODUCE???????
"So you will do nothing? Apathy is death, it is worse than death, for at least a rotting corpse will feed the beasts and the insects" -Kreia

haha...never thought about that before. *thinks* well, how many people today "reproduce" w/o loving the person they're involved w/? maybe some/most (who knows?) jedi aren't as pure as they seem to be.
thinkin more on this, i wonder how jedi like revan and malak came to be. were they born of jedi? surely, their births werent the divinely conceived sort. then anakin wouldnt seem so prodigal. "holo news: jedi are popping out of nowhere, literally! we asked Paren T. Less, a jedi sentinel from coruscant, 'who are your birth parents?' 'honestly, i dont think I ever had any,' he claims. hm...thats what they all say now-a-days...more on this story latter when things become more clear."
doesnt matter. i still think its unsettling to play ds actually, in kotor I its not too bad, but in the II one...gees. ds really is dark.
