I have some questions. Can some one help me on this ?? :
REMEMBER WHEN READING:
-If you want to hear serious questions start reading from point 2
-I always play my character SOLO. I just cant play with a group. That's not my style
1. I got a strange idea to make a warrior with ONLY ONE ONE-HANDED BLADE. Stupid ?? Well. I was inspired by Zeratul - a character from Starcraft. He used only one, but very powerful blade. Thats the character of my dreams, but the game system has no bonuses for chars like that. And i wonder.... is there any sence in a char like that. I mean.... the only skills i could use would be those which add hit points, physical resistance, critical chance, and critical dmg.
And one other question.... is a two-handed sword held in one hand or in both hands on the character animation ??
2. I realized that death magic uses a lot of mama but has the best dmg, lightning makes smal dmg but its cheap in mama, and fire is quite balanced. Which of these elements do you prefer ?? I started to play a lightning mage but he's way to weak.
3. At the end of the game (when your char is at high lvl) what items do you use ?? Enchanted, Sets, Unique ??
4. Did you ever found a monster with non elemental res and ice res ?? (a one that would be hard to destroy by a nature mage)
5. Does your ranger have dodge and/or survival skills ?? I shockwave useful ??
That would be all. I know that some of these questions are stupid, but i just want to know some things.
A few questions about the game

1. No Zeratul in this game. One-handed weapons hardly do a lot of damage in later Acts, though I think you can do some decent damage using critical hit. Sorry but solo+one-handed melee seems a VERY hard game.
2. Don't specialize in any of them, since later on the majority of creatrues have resistence to one element or another.
3. Unique is the way to go.
4. Hardly any is resistent to non-elemental. Most ice-resistent creatures are found in Act2 I think.
5. Survival is pretty useful, I've never tried much dodge. Shockwave seems a lot of fun to me.

thanks for the reply
I had expected most of the answers you gave The only thing i didn't undestand is point 2. What do you mean you don't specialize in any ?? You don't add points to Searing Flames (fire dmg), Amplified Lightning (lightning dmg) or Grim Necromancy (death dmg) ??
One more thing. I saw that a dual-wield is quite slow the time betwen 2 attacks is almost the same as for two-handed weapons.... Does that mean that (without any skills) the "Barricade warior's" attacks are fastest ??

By not specialize in any I meant don't put too many skill points in just one skill. Spread out the skill points as you will get a lot of items later on that add to your skills. You do add points to Amplified Lightning and all that, but don't go above 10 too much.
Dual-wielding can be fast if you put some points in Alacrity.
