am i blind or stupid?

in the Isteru's Caverns there is an elevator that is suppose to take me to an Elven Reliquary and part of Arinth's Legendary Staff. well, i can't find the switch to activate the elevator. can someone point me in the right direction?

It's on the nearby staircase. You should be able to spot it by zooming in your mini-map and looking for a blue dot.

I have the same problem, but the only blue spot I can spot in the staircase is the war-pedestal. So I am still stuck! Somebody who can help out there

Sunniva: I don't think there's a war pedestal near the elevator, so you might be in the wrong place. Look [url="http://www.gamebanshee.com/dungeonsiegeii/walkthrough/thecliffsofazunai.php"]here[/url] for the location of the elevator.

Speaking of blue dots, I had my map in the corner zoomed in all the way during the whole game to see them and it messed me up as to where I was. I started again and found the TAB key map!!! Nice.
