Bugged bridge chapter 2. - Spoiler.

Post by Xandax »

So - it seems I've been hit by a bug in Chapter 2.

Finala doesn't fix the brigde after I've completed the quest in the Isle. She also have a silver questionmark above her head, like if the quest wasn't done, but the problem is - the quest is indeed done, and even the journal says so, and when I speak with her she acknowlegde that the quest is done and asks to join the party.

If I let her join the party, she just continues hammering on the brigde and I can't move her. I can send her to the inn, but if I pick her up from there, then she just sits down hammering the ground - stuck in the animation and wont move.

So basically - I'm at a dead end. The brigde is out, Finala does nothing and I can't seem to go forward.

I have upgraded to patch 2.2, and have absolutly no interest in restarting the game again (the game isn't that good), so if this is indeed a gamestopping bug, then it is a bug which will remove the game from my harddrive.

Have anybody else experienced this bug and hopefully found a solution - I'd hate to give up, but that is what I have to do if needs be. (And yes, I have tried reloading, quitting the game and starting it up again etc)

Well, the game supposedly keeps a backup saved game for you, so if you haven't saved twice since finishing the Elen'lu Isles bit, then you could try going back to that. But otherwise I'm guessing your game is hosed.
