Eastern Gatehouse (Windstone Fortress) blocked!

Hi there! I cannot find a way to exit from Eastern Gatehouse, just after accepting the quest from Banos, and killing the mimic.
After hours of trying, I still cannot discover a way out to go on, in the northern or western areas!!! Is there any secret switch or something to enable? The northern room facing the room with the mimic have a large door, but is all black and I cannot enter it... why? (a program bug?)

Please, help me, as soon as possible!!!!

You can see a map of Windstone Fortress [url="http://www.gamebanshee.com/dungeonsiegeii/walkthrough/windstonefortress.php"]here[/url]. It should at least show you where the exit should be.

I've heard of people complaining of having a black door instead of an exit, but I've never heard what if anything they did to fix it. Probably the easiest thing to try is to leave the area and then return. You might also try switching the active character.

Still no access...

Bad news: I reloaded my previous saves and the result was the same: black door :-(
New party configuration, modified active character, proximity to the black door, result :no access.

I don't know what to do...

I really don't want to restart my game... Hours and Hours of playing...
