Alcarity works for 2h weapons?

Aclarity which is the melee speed increaser skill, is under the dual wield tree, but the description doesnt specifically say its for dual wielding only. What im wondering is if it will increase the speed of my 2hweapons as well. Anyone tried this out?

it increases all kind of melee weapons but cestus, just put your sp on it and enjoy!
