Vix's quest takes place in the lower part of the Act Three mine. You'll need to have him in your party.

You have to search in the mine a Closed Door that only Vix can open. It's a very easy quest

The area is almost a straight shot from where you emerge after destroying the shard but BEFORE you go to fight the Dark Wizards.

where is vix

I rejected signing him up and now I want him for the last bit act3 I cant find him,has he got lost in action? has anyone seen him or have i got a bug?

You can find next next to the bar at the Inn in Eirulan. Sartan goes to the same spot, too.
