Monster Respawns

Post by cdhotfire »

Well, I want to level up some. But everytime I revisit a place, to see if some monsters respawn, there are only about 3 or 4. This makes it real hard to level. :(

Any clues?

You need to wait a while before the monsters come back. It's probably easiest to exit the game and then start it up again. I don't think monsters are saved, so they come back in full when you do that.

I do believe respawning works in DS II like it does in the Diablo games - once you load a saved game, all the monsters (including most bosses) respawn. I like spinning by Darthrul when I reload to kill the chieftan and his group again. :)

I guess i was going to the places where monsters dont respawn much, because I reloaded the game, and not all monsters respawn, just about 1/3 of them. Except maybe in the last place, where the prisons are, there it would be like 3/4.
