Autocast two curses?

Post by Laditor »

Can you autocast two curses?

It seems that if I load two different curses into my mage's autocast slots only the first curse is ever cast.

I believe enemies can only have one curse on them at a time.

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

I beg to differ, I have have a mage that has 2 auto cast spells, criple & drown, naturally she is the first to be attacked because all the bad guys just hate being cursed. I think it works because both curses are not from the same family.

Nasty magic

It is both true. Some curses exclude each other and some can be in effect at the same time.

Because my mage always got attacked as first I now let my knights cast curses, too. Now I use the freed auto slot of my mage to turn corpses into armour

This gives some use to the rising amount of mana my knights have. I also placed a "first aid" healing spell into some party member's auto slot for the same reason. Fights do not look so clean any more but they have become a bit more effective. This also helps against haters of healing spells :D

I have everyone but my dual weilder auto-healing although they rarely need it, but my combat mage is the only person that curses since her curses are much, much stronger, and the curses help her stay alive from stealing all the health her curses do. Once I got most of lich's carcass and reh's regalia set on my combat mage, she turned from a glass jaw into a very solid character that feeds off of damage. The more people she's hurting the better with all the health steal. Her health bar hardly wavers too much. I've put everyone else in wait mode just for kicks and she held her own like a champ.

I found when my dual weilder was healing, everyone else would stop attacking him and attack other people instead. So I took off his autoheal spell so he can convince the mobs to attack him instead. He doesn't autocast anything, he's basically just an aggro machine that does a fair amount of damage. :)
