If I remember correctly, the wait command is unassigned. You must give it a key command under game preferences. I am unsure, as I read something along these lines some time ago, and I have not actually played this game.

The are four party modes, but for some reason the button on the interface only toggles between two of them. The modes start out mapped to the 7-0 keys. The wait mode is 0.
