It cant happen
I personaly fell you cant have revan back as 1 in KotOR I you got to chose wether to be light or dark sided revan ad 2 in KotOR II you have to chose wether revan was male/female/LS/DS meaning that there is 4 optoins of how to have revan meaning that however you make him/her it will upset a majority of gamers as they didnt veiw revan as this themselves Bastilla however could come back and maybe carth but then again it may not be possible as in KotOR I LS ending bastilla gets killed KotOR I DS ending (as male) carth runs of to hide in that odd planet you crash land on.
So im sorry people however much we love basstila/revan/carth thers no way they can come back and kepp all gamers happy my advice if you wanna see bastilla/revan/carth play KotOR again

Bastila and Revan back in the KOTOR games would be excellent!
I don't think they should have even left the KOTOR games. KOTOR 2 should have also been about Revan and what happens to him after defeating the Jedi. And what happens to the rest of his followers. See what Lucas arts should have done was for KOTOR 2 have you load the data from your save from KOTOR (or just have you choose lightside or darkside and show the endings like what happened at the end for the side you chose and then show KOTOR 2 continuing off of that) then have you still follow what happens to Revan and the other followers after he takes over (or destroys the Sith) then that way it wouldn't have seemed like KOTOR 2 was baseiclly a copy of KOTOR 1 but just with different planets and ppl. But KOTOR 3 should be about Revan and the person from KOTOR 2 that you played as meet eachother and play together and choose your fate then.

I agree
I agree with Darth Revek 100%. They should of let you transfer all the data from the first KOTOR, everything. The storyline you chose, what you made Revan look like(eg. like when you fought the imaginary Revan in the cave when Kreia was testing you, they just covered his face a mask)etc. and left off from there. But what I heard from one of the game informers a while back was that most of the game was gonna be about the HK-47 droids and who created them and where they were created. If so, thats gonna kinda suck.

I think the player should be given a choice at character creation of an alignment choice wich determines what characters from the past are alive or not. also i think that the story should move to the outer rim but the player can go back to the other planets (Korriban, Kashykk, etc) when they want to.Personally i'd like to see the old characters return as NPC's and temporary controlables for certain events.
It's not who you are underneath, but what you do that defines you.
Theory
My idea for KOTOR III would be take the story further by five years, have a new padawan charged with finding Revan and at the same time fighting a new sith lord. The padawan meets up with Revan, a long the way being held prisoner by these true sith, and it takes the new main character Bastilla, the exile, and some of the others to help him. This is just an idea.

HK-47 was the first of the custom made droids to be made with the designs produced by Revan. HK-50 may be a rip off by the companies original design schematics used to create the once unique HK-47 series.

To put it in simpler terms Revan never actually made the HK-47 he just came up with the design for the HK-47 and they used the HK-47 design to make the HK-50.

But if he created the design isn't that the same as creating it. And if not then who made HK-47? I always thought Revan did with the whole story HK tells.

Well, we could go off topic with it, but lets try and keep that to a minimum. This is going to be my last OT post.
If I remember correctly, Systech was the company that made HK-47, a unique and custom made model, as the droid manufacturer tells you on Tatooine, because of the HK designation. This series of assasination custom made droids are supposed to be illegal, yet Revan had one built specifically for him.
Most likely, either someone stole the plans or ideas made by Revan to Systech, or Systech used it themselves, to create a series of custom made replicas in the HK-50s, a different kind of droid, essentially.
HK is only loyal to Revan. Revan is its creator.

Well said Hill-Shatar we usually are on different grounds on every idea but i'd be liying if i said i didn't agree with you. I'm not too sure but i think if the player uses HK-47 with an encounter with an HK-50 the droid will tell alot to HK-47. (i'm not too sure, my friend says it happened to him i myself never tested it)

Kotor
Yea, it kinda does, but I know I'll end up getting it anyway. And If it comes out for XBox 360 only (which it prolly will) thats the only reason why I'd get XBox 360(besides Halo 3). But yea, hopefully thats just a side quest that starts to get a little deeper instead it being the main part of the game. So far I think KOTOR I blows KOTOR II out of the water. They did a pretty bad job on KOTOR II. I know they made it in 1 year but still the storyline wasn't that interesting and the endings in the first 1 were just better on the dark and light side. But w/e Revan deff needs to be in this 1. He was kick ass even though you created him. The exile sucked.
Well i'll tell you this if the HK-47 story is gonna be the main story then i'll just play KOTOR 1 and 2 i'll skip KOTOR 3 because the HK-47 story sounds like it's gonna be a sleeper
The ideas that we made, not the one that may be used, if they decide to use anything about the HK series of droids at all.

Getting back to the topic i was kinda thinking (not the idea i'd really chose)
Bastila is the Jedi master the player reports to if the player is LS and Revan (somehow fallen back to the DS) is the Sith Lord that the player consorts with.
Bastila (the Jedi Master that is incharge of all of the players major quests if Lightside) reclaimed the Jedi Order from Atris and reformed the Jedi council.
Revan (the Sith behind all the players major questsif darkside) dominated the TS with the help of (and sacrifice) of the Jedi in the Outer Rim becomes the new Sith Lord of the TS.

Revan
Firstable, sorry for moderator, I didnt mean to spam. Few weeks ago, I posted a reply to this topic, but my post is missing and the statistic says I havent posted at all (0 post). That's why I'm giving a "test" post.
Secondly, I think the real story of Revan is his redemption. The option to go female and DS is just for the sake of the game. Imagine Lucas wants to make Kotor into a feature movie, I bet Revan will be male and LS. The LS story have more logic, intrigue, conflict, and drama. Think about what Malak said before he died. "I wonder what would it be if our position was turned, can I returned to the light as you?" At that point, I felt sorry for Malak because I (read: Revan) was the one who lead him to the star forge which eventually corrupted both of Revan and Malak. And from the story of the Star Forge, we know that Star Forge was the thing that corrupted jedi Revan and Malak because it is a tool of the dark side (even though the Rakatans themself didn't have the concept of "Force").
From the above point, i was hoping Kotor2 continuing the journey of Revan. Since its not, then I was hoping Kotor3 will. Just load up the old savegame or for new gamer start at level 15 (like Neverwinter Nights expansion pack) and forget about "what if my revan was female/male DS and kill bastila/carth". Assuming that Revan is a male/female LS and bastila/carth not killed would be more easier to expanded the story to whole new level.
My point is:
1. Load Kotor1 savegame. If you want a new game, choose Revan face and gender and start at level 20. People's life didnt stop just because they became a god-like fighter. You still have to deal with friends, new enemies, new problems, new mystery, and tougher opponent than you. Remember, there's always someone stronger than the strongest one.
2. Assume that Revan is LS so bastila and carth are definetely alive.
3. Perhaps the exile from KotorII can become a sith lord since he/she ended up at level 50 at the end of 2nd game?
just my 2 cents. few things I want to add, but I forgot. maye later. c yaa.

about what the person above me sed
That makes no sense. How are you gonna load your revan from the first 1 yet be light side, what if some ppl played it on the dark side and wanted to load their dark side revan? Me, I played the first and second 1 on the light and dark side. Which I think most ppl did.

he's right! You could do nothing with your save from 1. The rules of the game will be changed, new faces... not to mention the engine.
I admit its hard to carry on this story... Maybe they could just like in 2 make sure you talk with someone and then you could chose what happened.
I'm not saying I have a clue of how to do it... But you must have the option to
make a solution. IT IS STILL A ROLEPLAYING GAME!
