Where is he in act 5 lol, the most i've uncovered is "He is in act 5"..... which certainly narrows it down... What kind of drops does he give, and is he hard to reach? typo on pindel...

Edited your typo in the thread title. /C Elegans

Pindel is the monster in the hallway after Anya's portal and the reanimated horde that rises when you enter the area.

There are a few items in the game that he can't drop, but I don't remember exactly which at the moment. I think Tyrael's Might may be one of them.

He doesn't drop good items very often though, the point with killing him is that he is extremely easy to reach if you have not taken the way point on the way to Nhilatak(sp?) You just enter Anya's portal, teleport past or kill the pack of undead and enter the hallway. With a sorceress it doesn't have to take more than a few seconds.

Generally, it requires tens of thousands of runs to get good items (though it is alot less popular due to the fact he does not drop the rarest item in the game: Tyrael's Might, nor Arachnid's Mesh/Azurewrath).

If you run him continuously and a lot, you should be able to get a good item (with "good" I mean an exceptional or elite set/unique) every 20-25 runs or so, but if you want windforces and the like you'll have to do countless runs, as Noober said. Unless you're lucky ofcourse, which is still the largest drop factor in magic finding ;)
