"Wipe this planet from the face of the galaxy!!!" -Malak
I think he was pretty serious when he said that about Taris.
I'd love to go to Coruscant because we know there is a Jedi temple on it late in SW history (would it be present in KOTOR times, though, is what I'm not sure of). In each game so far they've had a planet-sized city to visit, and they were on Taris and Nar Shadaa. What's a little more continuity?
I cannot stand Korriban or Dantooine anymore. It's so time to move on to other Jedi/Sith "holy" planets. Ziost does seem like a great place to visit as does Ossus. They could replace Korriban and Dantooine (please!).
We definately have to visit at least one planet that is in the unknown regions 'cause that's where Revan and the Exile were headed. Perhaps a planet in this region could be the final planet where we face our big, bad nemesis. A new planet would also give the producers a chance to be extra creative and hopefully wow us with something new.

COME ON, KOTOR III. I'M WAITIN!

There must be a Jedi temple on Coruscant in KotOR times; wasn't the Exile's trial held there (on the recording T3 steals from Atris)?
As far as I'm concerned, I'd like to see planets with a little more... variety. I mean, isn't it kind of odd that the ENTIRE Manaan is just one big watery blob, Korriban's a rocky rock full of rock and rock and some more rock, Dantooine is all rolling hills and green fields, I can somehow even buy the whole planet-spreading-city story, but for heaven's sake, if Tatooine is all just one big desert, then where does the oxygen come from? No trees - no photosynthesis - no converting-carbon-dioxide-into-oxygen! Forgive me if I'm a bit off - I never actually did Chemistry in English.
What I'm trying to say is, the whole concept of planets in the SW galaxy seems a bit too unrealistic because of this, so if everyone's voting for having more cities and locations on one planet, why not have different climate and vegetation zones too? Just one continent on Earth is enough to have deserts, tropical beaches, jungles, savannahs, mountain ranges, spreading fields, really cold snow-covered places I can't think of a name for right now..., while SW needs an entire galaxy to show a desert, a hill, and a palm tree on a beach.
PS A big hug to whoever designed Telos and gave it cities, beaches, hills, meadows, and polar ice caps all in one go.

You should do so well as to be sucked into the engine of some evil Sith Lord, you know.
it's a good point u have there Suicide Girl. I thought about that -no water on tatooine- problem also. i think the phenomenon can be xplained. tatooine got burnt by the rakatans and the oceans and evrething else that meant water evaporated in to the atmosphere. then the inhabitants made up the moisture-vaporators thingings to collect oxygen from the atmosphere and make drinking water. so... no oceans... sorry. if there wold be a larger medium variety then the planets wold look more like earth (and lucas wold be a convicted felon for the lack of originality). tatooine, dantooine, hoth, manan and other planets were made to look more alien like to us humans... I think u got the point

Yes, I understand exactly what you're trying to say. I know SW needs to be alien, but then again, I'm the kind of person who asks questions like "What happens when you thrust a lightsaber into a mirror?"
And not to make this post completely spammy... I'd really like to see Deralia in KotOR. I always thought of it as a pretty little place like Finland in early summer. We really need to find out some more about Deralia, maybe even run into Revan's long-lost twin sister. laugh: I'm going off-topic here)
But another inconsistency that's bothering me about the planets in KotOR (especially in KotOR I) is finding the entire crew's gallery of old friends and long-lost family members on only four planets. I mean, Bastila and her mother separated how long ago? And there she is, out of all the places in the galaxy, on the very fist planet we set foot on, along with Mission's beloved brother and Carth's old mate who brings joyous tidings of his missing son, who, incidentally, happens to be on yet another planet we're scheduled to land on very soon.
Now I'm really becoming a spamming pain.
*sigh* Any old planet will do, but I'd really really like to have Deralia. I probably won't, but oh well.

First i doubt it but i think Corusant should be under developed no cites, no technology, and primative. They should find it and say they should make this the new Taris since Taris was destroyed and then they start to develop everything. (then 4000 years later it's the new Taris or something like that)
Now second just to put it in more simpler terms, Each planet has there own system that gives oxygen and everything else that you mentioned.
And last to get back too the topic, why is it you guys dont like my idea about having planets from both "known space" and the outer rim? Like i said before they could make it so the player doesn't have to return to the planets but going to them could help the main story but they dont really need it.

It's not who you are underneath, but what you do that defines you.

I never said I don't like it - it's quite intriguing, really.
But I don't think Coruscant should be underdeveloped; why would the Jedi have their main temple on an empty planet with nothing but trees and unintelligent life-forms? They already have Dantooine as an isolated place for meditation and suchlike; the other Academy should be on a bustling urban anthill, for contrast's sake.
And, as a matter of fact, Coruscant was the capital since the very start of the Republic. That means it should be prosperous-destroyed-prosperous, and destroying the capital for the sake of a decade of underdevelopment doesn't really make sense.
Sorry if you feel this was a bit mean on my part. It wasn't. I still like what you said about having both core and rim planets. (Note: I believe the Outer Rim is also "known space". It's the space beyond that falls into the "unknown" catregory.)

You forgot something, Nar Shaddaa is very Old and still the whole planet seems to be one big city so Im pretty sure Coruscant is as we know it from the movies but ofcourse with more primitive tech. I dont think Coruscant is younger than Nar Shaada, but older.
And what about Sulon, Dromund Kaas and Altyr
from Jedi Knight 2 Mysteries of the Sith? I bet they were somewhat settled or known in the time of the Old Republic. Dromund Kaas is an ancient world of the Sith, maybe it played a major role as sith base or something in the times of the Old Republic then later be discovered by Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors.

IIRC in the first KotOR on Manaan, there is a Sith who says Malak will burn the core worlds, or words to that effect.
Also the video from KotOR 2 in the temple shows Coruscant as a metropolis...
I cant remember what it was called but i saw a comic with the sith world which would be cool and no its not korriban.
it's ziost. or yavin4 (home of naga sadow and exar kun)
I see that empire at war added to their list of playable planets taris, so malak just destroyed the cities and every thing else on the surface. so it could be in kotor III but i wold rather have the <<tales of the jedi>> planets like ziost, ossus, teta, onderon (with a bigger city to move in).

There was talk about a ship leaving into the great void when attacked by Mandalorians. The KotOR universe and surrounding area might be close to the limit, probably.

We should remember that a lot of the planets from Kotor 1 and Kotor 2 took very different turns according to the decisions of the main character. Therefore, for many of them the developers would have to practically write two different scenarios, which would be a waste of time and space. This applies especially to Kashyyyk, Onderon, Dantooine, Manaan, Rakata Prime (aka the Unknown World) and Malachor V. Peragus is completely out of order.
This leaves us with the following possibilities:
Taris (in ruins) - maybe meeting some survivors we know from Kotor 1?
Telos - the difference between having Czerka or the Ithorians in charge shouldn't be too complicated;
Nar Shaddaa;
Tatooine;
Dxun.
Now to those new planets I think have a good chance of appearing:
Ziost - very high probability, as it was the Sith capital world;
Yavin 4 - not the station, but the real thing, including the buried spaceship of Naga Sadow;
Ossus - what remains of the Jedi Library after Exar Kun's attack;
Sleheyron - it was originally planned for Kotor 1, but cancelled very early; however, there should be some usable concepts.
But as Micahel said: there are a lot of unknown planets in the Unknown Regions...

Personally, I would hate to see Coruscant, Yavin 4, Mustafar, and any of the other planets from the movies in the game. Especially Coruscant, because it's been done SO many times, and the different representatiosn of it are going to start contrasting.
There are so many other planets that have potential. Planets like Ithor, Empress Teta, some of the planets in the Old sith Empire, Qarqi; planets that have been discussed in the books, but have not been done before.

Well that’s it. That’s my List of Favorite Planets I would like to see in the=is Game.
