Walk in the park

My trip always begins at the teleporter in the Northern Greilyn Jungle. I step into the jungle and see the ruin next to it and I see what apprears to be a door in the wall. But, I can not find a switch or the like to open it so that I may hike up the path behind the wall. What am I missing? :confused:
