Battle Arenas
I was thinking of the biggest battle arena where there are no rules and you have a choice of fighting in a certain match level ranging from 1 to 3 and the number of matches depend on the level of the matches. You fight monsters like kath hounds, tuk'atas, rancors, terentateks, greater terentateks and so on as well as a krayt dragon. If you survive each match you will be rewarded with credits as well as prizes and could choose to fight again if you want to until you run out of things to fight.
I was thinking of something similar, while that sounds great, I wouldnt mind a dueling arena like the one on Taris, but with more duelists, and you could challenge almost anyone to a nondeath match duel, and certain people to a death match duel.
On the creatures arena, thats a great idea, you could maybe do solo or team duels (teams is with party, solo with out). You could get credits but could also search their corpses for items that their previous meals left behind, and their hides/fangs/valuable remnants to sell to a hunting lodge or colector or something, you could even find melee upgrades, a harder bone for a blade/hilt, or lightsaber upgrades, a crystal (like the Krayt Dragon Crystal in KOTOR 1) or a hilt.

If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him.

I agree with this - as tempting as the idea sounds, I surely wouldn't like slaughtering innocent beasts, no matter what the reason might be.
But the captured-and-fighting-to-get-out deal sounds interesting.

You should do so well as to be sucked into the engine of some evil Sith Lord, you know.
You call Terrentatek innocent?
These would be vicious predators that are too dangerous to allow live in an open evironment:
Terrentatek, Hssiss, Zakkeg, the odd Bomma, Drexyl, Rancor (like on the Unkown world, but maybe even a few full grown), kinrath and kath hounds to start out on on lower levels, new beasts, all of the beasts from Geonosis, something with wings.

[QUOTE=GregtheSleeper]What about something along the lines of Genosis?
Taken prisoner - have to fight your way out of the arena... then the crowd...

That would be tight. A great way to either start/end the game, IMO. Start as a Jedi prisoner or somthin...

Well it would have to be something the player can return to. I wouldn't like to repeat what happened on Taris, beat the duelists and never come back to it.
Also what i was thinking is, in the cartoon the clone wars Darth teranus goes and chooses a warrior from an all out death match with several warriors in the arena at the same time. It would be awsome if the player can go to a planet anytime he/she wants and compete in a death match. (To the victor goes the spoils)

It's not who you are underneath, but what you do that defines you.

That would be a little difficult to fit into the plot if your going dark side, if it is a voluntary contest. The Jedi slave would make a lot more sense in that case.

i want to have a part maybe near the end of the game where all of your team characters are in a battle in the same room at the same time and have alot of enemies to fiight and defintly some high lvl ones to make it harder. but be alble to lvl up all of you peps first and select their weopens that would be so cool and maybe have a mini game where all your team fight ing the arena agaist each other or together like above and see who is the most powerful character.

i want to be able to have a free for all. they could have a different battle arena on every plannet. the battles type should be based on the planet and its population type. say if you were to have a battle arena on korriban at the time of kotor 1 then you could fight sith. or if you fought on manaan you could fight mandalorians, echani and iradorians amongst the other mercenaries or you could fight bounty hunters on narshadaa.
What about having a team deathmatch or something similar like what we see in Unreal Tournament? Might sound like a good idea.
As what some have posted previously, why not have separate tournaments that are divided into 2 categories like blaster competition or a sword to sword competition. At least its more fleshed out rather than jumping into a blaster fight with a sword.

''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

Err..... I think that's more to a real battle than an arena battle.
By the way, how do you fit 20 men into an arena? Its going to be pretty crowded and very chaotic when the battle commences.

*yes, and...
+It doesn't has to be in a arena like in kotOR I, but in a leviathan arena.

As I was thinking of 20 men in an arena, I was thinking as to how to fit them into the arena of its size in KOTOR 1. It doesn't look that big in my opinion.
By the way, does the Leviathan have an arena? Never seen one in my life.
