Save games

I got DS2 when it first came out and played through it until I was about halfway through veteran. I then uninstalled the game(but not the save game files) because I needed the space. I recently decided to reinstall it to pick it up where I left off but now I cant get the game to access my save game files. Would anyone possibly know how I can get it do work? I downloaded the v2.2 patch and everything but it still shows no saved games.

I think it has to do with your saved games being from a different version that the one you have now, but it seems to appear in other cases too.

What might help, and I stress might, is the mod that is on the web that should allow you to see all of your saved games. Do not know if that will work but it's worth a try.
