Taking some pages out of Jedi Knight for the comp (and returning the book late, too-I'm darkside ), I think there should be some of the more fun force powers like Force Disarm, Force Destruction, and FORCE DEADLY SIGHT BABY!! In addition to those, I think just for humour's sake there should be "Force-I'm squishing your head!". I always though that it would be funny for a darksider to be walking down the street and go to someone "I'm squishing your head!" with his fingers and have the person's head actually be crushed flat.
Get up, stand up. Come on, throw your hands up.

Said alterations would be extremely graphic, and would be called by the ESRB as gore, therefore raising the game to Mature ratings, and restricting use.
Force implode, IMHO, would be much to powerful. The game would take only a few hours, as you could just use this every couple of seconds on the enemy.
If they wanted shattered and sperated limbs, then they would not aim for the lower aged teen audience, nor would they have made lightsabers as "weak".
I myself would not mind as somewhat stronger form of force push, more of like a fist, that does more damage. Currently, force wave is worth working to get, but nothing else in the series is overly useful (unless your skills are above their saves often enough that the imobilizing effect of the tornado works often).
This game does have a plot setting... so I wouldn't want overly powerful force abilities until later in the game, myself...

The ability to lift stuff up and force push it at people would be good. Like if you could activate the power and everything (crates, bodies, dropped items etc) in a certain radius (which could expand with level) levitates and then flies at the nearest enemy.

Or simply have a power that can remote access consoles, switches, ect, from a good distance. Some parts of the game would be much more difficult if you could not reach certain items, unless you had this power, which could open up new quests, or something along those lines.
Makes it a reward for those who do put abilities into arcane and obscure force powers.

i also think a lil better physics would be nice, i had 3 ppl running at me and one wa sin range of force wave and he flew back through the other two but the other two didnt notice a body fly through theirs, i tihnk if people get hit by large animate objects they should atleast notice, and to remain on topic for froce powers, remote activating things would be good like telekines in morrowind, or maybe being able to tlak through the force to peopel from a roud a corner influencing there behaviours, could prvoide for some side entertainment.
If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him.

just adding to this. physics are kind of annoying in these games. WHY CAN"T I WALKOVER A THREE INCH LEDGE. i hate that so much it would be so much faster to get from place to place if you could just at least swith from a flat plain to a slightly rising plain or better yet jump just a little. This has definately been said before but it just seemed appropriate to go along with Phreddies comment

Why can't any jedi use any force powers. How about force powers all have certain cost depending on the power of them, not if they are light or dark side, this is due that Anakin can do Force Grip in the Clone Wars while a Jedi, but in Kotor, it is a bad dark side power. All powers for all Jedi, and finally a new super power...Force Conversion. Not only turning someone to your side for a few mins, but permeantly, that never leaves your side. But, you can only use it every 6 hours in the game, and also a force gun, that fire blast of force push at people, using the force!
Skandaman, back from the dead, and now kicking butt again. Fear him for he's angry and fillled with sugar. Mmm sugar.
perfect physics
I would like to see a Star Wars game were you didn't have to say "Yes. I will comply with your demands" to every NPC at the end of each conversation, with perfect physics, and creative new ways to use the force. It would also be nice to be able to swing the lightsaber different ways, and diverge from the D&D method of determining whether an opponent was defeated. Possibly also an online version, like a "World of Star Wars", like Star Wars Galaxies, so interaction with other characters could be more realistic.
But that won't happen. Because it's a video game in the year 2005.
So hell, I'll be content with a toolbar, pausing, non-realtime combat, preset conversation choices, restrictions on killing NPC's (but hooray for Fable on that freedom. Random wanton killing is amusing and fun. And because I'm sadistic, and because doing things that are frowned upon by society in fantasy worlds is somehow therapeutic.), and like... people not noticing when scrapmetal flies through them and lightsabers being stopped with wooden staves.
It's a game. But for a game, damn it's good.
Just fix the falling through the floor part.
I HATE falling through the ground. Especially if I haven't saved the game for an hour.

I would like to see a power like Vader used in EP3 at the end when he learned Padme died...I'd also like to see a power where you can throw your lightsaber at someone and it sticks in their chest and you hop on them and pull it out or something like yoda did in EP3
Fear is the emptiness inside your heart. Never underestimate the capablities of someone's actions towards you.

I'd like to see a force power that improves the players chance of blocking a shot or a strike, the force power sees a shot or a strike coming before it even happens and gives the player time to block (improves saves), call it foresight or a name that has something to do with the force like Forcesight(foresight - forcesight )
It's not who you are underneath, but what you do that defines you.

I think they should put in the Energy Absorption power like Vader uses in Empire Strikes Back. It's also used in the I, Jedi novel. It's basically where something energy-based contacts your skin and you absorb it and it gives you a boost to your force powers.
And that, my friends, is why you do not anger a Wookiee.

Force Disc. Nasty power, allow's you to split your enemies in half. Jedi\Sith project's an energy disc an he\she give's it high speed, sending it towards enemy. If the victim fails defending itself, it receives lots of damage, and if it dies, it get's split in half :mischief:
In the mist by the hills the day darkens
In this forest death rules
Over this chasm riders of doom and face him with a deadly pale
Spectre face
Grim as stone, ride to the deathfields... Blackness and doom
A total eclipse of the sun
Die by the northern triology in the mist by the hills

Sounds like the distructo-disc from Dragonball Z...
This has probably been said many times already, but I wouldn't mind having the ability to throw random items (rocks, sticks, droids, pieces of machinery, whatever) at enemies. Like Vader did in ESB when he knocks Luck out the window.
Also, Force Pull (which was said just above this) is a good idea too.

I think that there should be a dark side power that replaces threaten in conversations when you raise up your opponent and choke them and force the information out of them ... he he so evil
Hmm. Much fear i sense in you. Be mindful of your feelings. Fear is a path to the Dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering ...
