Upgrading a lycanders bow

Post by Ciba_Blue »

Alright lol since molt said an upgraded lycanders bow is a good wep, i'm probably gonna upgrade it, but there in lies the problem. A lycanders bow is a ceremonial bow, and it doesn't seem to fall under normal excep. or elite, so what cube formulae would be used to up it? It also looks like a grand matron bow, but that's a class specific just like lycanders lol, so I have no idea which cube formulae to use.. Am I an idiot? Or am I just blind? Anyone?

Probably the socketing quest, I can't figure another way.

Socket quest is for socketing ;)
Lycander's Aim is an Exceptional Amazon Specific bow, so to upgrade it to elite you'll need to put it in the cube with a Pul, Lum and a Perfect Emerald. After you upgrade it it will become a Grand Matron Bow. To see its stats, requirements and damage after you upgrade it, check this calculator.

If you can, do a nm rush for the forge. I assume you play on closed bnet? Many puls and um's drop from forge, and if not still good ones drop.

Upgrading lycanders

Yeah, I did my NM forge on Thursday, and my hell-forge yesterday, a lem dropped off nm, and a pul off hell. But, since im making a new char, that will be two more chances once I get around there.

Best thing for nm is an orb sorc with max resists. Chaos sanctuary guys are fire immune and orb is a fast and very powerful when a few points are in it. Try to get a wizard spike for the FCR and resists, that thing saved my life in hardcore more than once when rushing nm.

Lycanders

Yeah, I have a wiz spike, tal helmet, and Tiamat's Rebuke, plus some decently high resist charms, so my resists in nm are maxed, but yeah.. I rushed someone yesterday, forge dropped, they were quicker, and took the rune.. Kinda makes me not want to do it seeings how most people on this game are insanely greedy lol.

yah, i got jipped a few times when i was rushing people... even in normal which is weird why anyone would want that and I usually end up letting them keep the stuff, minus the p-gem.

Ya lol, i've never been jipped in norm. Most people are so happy that i'd rush them for free they don't bother trying to rob the rune.. even if they did, it's not much to sweat.. my life will continue if I don't get a ral :) Makes me mad thought, anytime i've ever asked for a nm rush for my forge, i'm true to my word.. unlike the 80 pct. of immoral people that I come across on the game, but hey I guess that's the price I pay for playing a game with ignorant fellow Americans....

Welp, I as well have had that problem lol, it's either one or the other, alot of people usually do quit before forge just so they don't take the risk of losing the rune.. It's sad really.
