Things I want to see...
Okay, KoTOR was awesome, the second was cool, but the ending was really rushed and crappy. I think with the next generation of consoles, make it huge. Really push the envelope. Fix the glitches, cut down loading time.
Characters to bring back:
Revan
Bastila
Carth (non-playble, he was so whiney)
Atton
Hand-Maiden
Mira
Bao-Dur
Planets:
Dantooine
Tatooine
Onderon
Kashyyyk
They need to make the planets larger. The cities were always so small. Where the heck are all of the people? Anyways, I want to know what Revan did out there. Also, some closure on the great Romance between he and Bastila. (sorry guys, I'm a sucker for romance). This game could be so awesome, but they gotta go for broke.

Here's an idea. I think the NPCs in 3 should maybe get along a little better. I'm not saying everyone should be everyone elses best pal but it seemed like every time two or more NPCs got together you have to step in before one of them takes a swing at the other. Its fun to see them argue some, but it gets old really quick.
When all else fails, try brute force.

there are so many possibilities regarding how people played kotor1 and 2 that i don't honestly think they can take everything into account. if they decided to have bastila back they would just assume that she wasn't killed in kotor1, same if they decide to have carth back or any of the others. the ones i think they definately shouldn't bring back as they always die if ds are jolee and juhani. i think bringing bastila or carth back would be ok as in most games they do not die.

KOTOR III Story
I think they should start you off as a young force sensitive child who is about to begin training at the Jedi Enclave on Dantoonie. Or Coruscant or wherever. Anyway, it should in tie into KOTOR I and KOTOR II, and to put to rest how many different ways the game could have been played, your teacher should quiz you on the recent...or not so recent events of the galaxy i.e. Darth Revan, savior of Republic or Sith Lord? This would be a way to determine the sex and alignment, and therefore the story that will lead up to this sequel. After your training, you fastforward some years, to when you are to become a padawan. This is where you make your first choice as to the way of the light or dark. Your enclave could be attacked by the Sith, and you could choose to accept an offer to join them, or flee from the Enclave to another Jedi friendly planet where you become a Jedi. The story should bring back characters according to you answers, such as Bastilla if she survived the trials with Revan. It should lead to an encounter with this "unseen threat" at the edges of the galaxy that Revan and the exile went to find, again, depending on your childhood quiz. I don't know, basically just have something at the beginning that allows you to choose how the history of the previous games influence KOTOR III's story.

what i would like to see
If there is to be a KOTOR 3 i would like there to be a chance to select a different race as ur primary character. Im getting sick of using a human as the primary character aswell as making them more customised. More jedi/sith powers. a much better system of having an apprentice. More interactive environments and citizens on different planets. How bout also having both the outter and inner rim planets aswell as planets like dagobah.
It might also be fun to start of as a young child being trained as a jedi or sith and have you age as u advance through the game.

How about this: you are an child of an Jedi Knight and Sith Assasin. Jedi is your father, and Sith is your mother (evil women are sexy :mischief: ). Classic story - she was suppose to kill him, but she failed, because she fell in love with him. Later he catches her, and fall in love with her as well. They run away from the whole world, love each other very much and have a kid. I ain't no romance-writer, so don't expect a amazing love story from me. Anyway - you are an child of this enigmatic pair, which hid on some peaceful planet and lived happily, until Revan came back after his departure to the Unknown Regions, in search of the True Sith. He took hell of a beating and had to retreat with remnants of his fleet back to the Republic Space. During this travel, in which he is chased by Sith fighter's, he flies near your planet. An battle between his ship and the Sith enrages, and Revan's ship is badly damaged, forcing him to land on your planet. The Sith follows him, determined to destroy the one that had challenged them. In strange course of action, Revan, after landing fled from his ship to hide, but he orders the rest of the fleet to continue travel to Coruscant, where they would receive help from the Republic. As you couldn't ignore such event, and because Revan's ship landed not too far away, along with your parent's you go to check what's up. Along the way you meet Revan - wounded physicaly, mentaly and spiritualy man, exhausted of his battle with Sith, wearing a mask and full body armor, so no one would know how he would look like, allowing him to return to normal life after the war. He is chased by an group of Sith warrior's, so your parent's, knowing who Revan is, tell you to help him escape, while they cover your retreat. You manage to get into the safety of your house, and soon after your parent's return. All of you get on an small spaceship, and decide to go to Coruscant, to help Revand defend the Galaxy. Of course, you have some trouble with the Sith on the way, but eventually you get to Coruscant.
That can be the prologue for the story. If y'all find it good enough, I'll try to think of the next part. Oh, I would forgot - you are a strong Force Sensitive, trained by your parents in combined ways of Jedi and Sith, taking what's best out of them, so you are not defenceless.

Grim as stone, ride to the deathfields... Blackness and doom

Ok I think I got another part of my story, but I'll make it quick on it, as I'm in no mood for story-telling.
So, you, your parent's, Revan and his fleet gather on Coruscant. Revan manages to sent an call to all of his allies, including his old crew, Jedi Exile and her homies and the remaining Jedi and Sith, and after some time they all eventually come. Hugs and kisses from old friends to each other, but the problem is, that they all can get exterminated by the True Sith, if they won't put up a good fight. The plan is created, evrybody is in place, ready to rumble, now it's time for TS to come. Sure of their victory, they come at last. First, battle is fought in space, but the crumbled republic fleet is combined of old or damaged ships, with only about 30% of it proving a challenge to TS. Soon, fight moves to planet surface. TS are in no mood of hunting evry single republic soldier in city of Coruscant, as it would take too much time, so they go straight to Jedi Temple, where the Senate and other leaders gathered, protected by finest of the defenders. When the final assault is about to be launched, Revan, which was widely known throughout TS as the One That Challenged, ordered evryone to stay inside the Temple, while he would come out and challenge the leader of the TS fleet, giving them time to escape or tighten their defence, whatever they considered best. Revan, alone, with no hope, walked out of safety. He stood before the enormous army of TS warriors, droids and enslaved beasts and with powerful (I can't find a better word ) voice he challenged TS leader, giving him terms, that in case he won Sith would give them time to prepare for the war, and he would fail, defenders will give up but TS would spare them. And the Sith obeyed. The duel has begun. Revan, stripped of hope and will to live, gave himself completly to his emotions and instincts, although not forgiving what he had learned along his way to this point. He did not save himself from wounds his enemy would inflict on him, if he had wounded him as well. After a long and breath-taking fight, the Sith fell to Revan's lightsaber. Force's of TS were highly surprised, as they were sure of their leader's and would no doubtly attack Revan and then slaughter all of those gathered in the Temple. But defenders had one last asset in their hand. The Jedi Exile. Hid in the walls of the Jedi Temple, where the Force flowed freely, she meditated all day, preparing for this opportunity. TS warriors minds where distracted by Revans victory and did not payed attention to any attempt of having they're mind being attacked by Jedi. This was an perfect situation for the Jedi Exile, which used the techinque that Darth Nihilus used to slay all life on Katarr. She succeeded. Evry last TS was stripped of the life force and Force, leaving an empty shell of flesh. Unfortunatly, the amount of hate and agression drained from by the Exile was too much for her and it driven her mad. With last shred of her will, she jumped out of the Temple's window and found her death in smashing into the Ebon Hawk, which was docked few levels under. Revan also died this day, as he no longer held to his life so desperatly, allowing his wounds make him one with the Force. In this one day, Republic lost almost all of it's fleet and many soldiers, and in addition, it's two greatest hero's. Although the remaining TS on the planet's orbit fled to report of their failure, it was obvious they will eventually come back. Now was the time to prepare for it.
P.S. - I have no good idea how this preperation would look like and whats your part in it.
I hope y'all like my story, and this is the last part of it that I will make.

i wouldn't mind having the ability to actual call pazaak players cheats if they constantly get lucky and start to annoy you and then have the option to actually fight them and get ds points if you want it (that way it kinda fits if you are playing a ds character that gives in to his/her anger - in kotor1 it just annoys me that you get called a cheat on taris but have no way of responding to it, or if you get really annoyed with the computer always winning, like i do sometimes, you can't just take out your lightsaber and kill them like you want to lol)

Ey Sanderballs, ever seen something like this [,] or [.] ?? It would be a lot easier to read your posts if you would use them
Quite right. We understand if you don't have excellent English, but some people here have English as a second language. Please try and make it a bit more understandable. - Hill-Shatar

I agree with Tundra and it would be cool if youcould buy upgrades for your ships. I would also quite like some more turret minigames to play with - like maybe a pest extermination minigame?
Hmm. Much fear i sense in you. Be mindful of your feelings. Fear is a path to the Dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering ...

Me, I'd like to see:
(This is a bit long, I've been thinking about it for a while)
A finished game, even if it takes another year or two.
A lot fewer bugs&glitches, and decent prompt fixes for the known issues. All of them, not some of them. I know a lot of people have already said this, but I think it can't be stressed enough.
That said, I would like to see a large game KToR games tend to get replayed a lot, so rich varied complex plots are a must. So are many quests and lots of planets. If this is to be the last game in a trilogy, then it should go out in a bang, with rich cinematic graphics special effects.I hope they keep the cinematic feel and look of the game. KToR II had some amazing emotional moments where there was a cutscene with a movie and a musical score telling the story. This was very well done.
The little things: Have the PC's lines spoken instead of read in text. Adds to the cinematic feel.
Space out the placement of the better quality items in the game. It's not fun to obtain all the best stuff just before the endgame.
Lots of planets to travel to. My choices for new ones are, Alderaan, Corascant, Ord Mandell, Corillia, Yavin 4. Some other Expanded Universe worlds too.
Fewer dead worlds/derilict ships. One might be fascinating, but several in a row like in TSL can be depressing. Also, I like exploring and talking to the locals. Can't do that if they are all dead!
I would also like to be able to use my party more than I did in Sith Lords. Seems I was always stuck on solo missions a lot because my party was split up, incapacitated, or just meditating. I like building up, controlling and equipping a party.
It seemed a running gag to crash the Ebon Hawk each planet. Actually, it got annoying.
Complete the story arc for each character, including the PC. This means not stopping all dialouge after the first quest is completed for that character so they have nothing further to say with other characters. Especially if there's a romance subplot.
If the PC or/and NPCs are supposed to be Jedi (or Sith) it happens early in the game so they can level up well. Fewer droid NPC's. I don't think we need an Artoo/C3P0 like duo. I never used GOTO.
Keep the scriptwriter who is responsible for the humorous lines in the game. The lines like the "Kath Hound chew toy" one are hilarious. Well done humor makes a better game.
Smarter AI. In Sith Lords the AI left something to be desired. For the most part they just stood around staring at the walls. None of them had anything worth listening to if they spoke at all.
No more "Whodunnit" murder mysteries. Let's not argue and bicker about who shot who, the point is, we need to get on with saving the galaxy, as Monty Python would say. More or less.
Add more depth to the Light and Dark sides. As it is, it's too obvious which options lead to what. And have endgames that are rewarding whichever side you play on.
I liked the "Teleport" option. It ment less plodding through empty levels.
The Kinrath need to go extinct. As far as beast fights go, they stunk. All they did was spawn in the most annoying and often unlikely places and poke you. Gah. Less gratutious beastfights anyway.
If that is a Sith Assassin, Apprentice, or Master attacking you, should they be using force powers and/or lightsabers? Why yes, they should!
And during the fight, it would be great to rotate the catchphrase loop the characters like to use. I wanted to stab Desciple. He did NOT need to tell each legreak he saw that they'd left him an opening.
If you are a Sith, and you've brought your party over to the Dark Side,-or vice versa- then they should act that way, instead of reverting to Light Side dialouge and behavior of a sudden becasue somebody slipped up on continuity. Keep and develop the influence concept so the PC can have a Light Side or Dark Side group with a teamate or two on the other side to keep a contrast.
I'm looking foward to KToR III when or if it comes out---so long as it is a completed game.

i quite like t3 and hk and actually quite often take them along with me. i agree that 3 droids is ridiculous though, especially when the third is goto (the most pointless character ever).
as far as your crew is concerned, i'd like a crew with a variety of races. maybe a rodian or even a gamorrean lol. i don't want another wookie though as i never use them at all.
personally i'd quite like another who-dunnit side quest as i quite liked those and the other little mysteries and puzzles.
i would like to come across more holocrons though and ones that actually tell you about the history of the sith, jedi etc. they would be optional to access obviously but you could find them when exploring ruins and stuff and it would help build up a bit of background to the events that are happening. or you could come across sith holocrons like those atris had and there could be some quest or task to do with those.

WhAt I WaNt
I want characters back named:
Carth - loyal awsome aiming soilder
Zabrak - as chewwie like as you can get
Bastilla - love girl
I want to see what happens with the HK's, more about what happens to Revan after the first, I also want to see cut scenes on how malak betrays revan. I played the first one on computer than the second on xbox and im redoing the first one on xbox right now. These games are epic. The first one i think kills the second one, just on how far and crazy and how interesting you can into it. I think both were amazing games for any judging on them. I just want some more control of the charactres and a little more on influence on how can influence many people with same answers and not have multiple people pinned against you.
Tatooine is a must have place. Some of the places arn't needed, but to me tatooine is too much of a city to forget.
I want the main character to influence more, not just his past or his future, but to infuence more of what goes on. The council, the decisions, the game play. If his choices in words infuence how the council chooses to send him off or exile him or anything, it would be awsome. I think that Kotor 3 is just what is needed.
