I think it would be quite good if ur pc was a good mechanic and made themself an astromemch droid and had a lot of experiences with the PC and has a sorta bond thing with the droid. then him and t-3 would compete for your praise and maybe have a showdown at the end
Hmm. Much fear i sense in you. Be mindful of your feelings. Fear is a path to the Dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering ...
I also want to see cut scenes on how malak betrays revan.
there are cutscenes in kotOR I how malak betrays revan (the big explosion at the bridge when revan is about to fight against bastila and the jedi knights. malak fires at the bridge's ship while he knows revan is in it, and still alive.)

Well, that sound's like a pet. I would prefer to have an option of raising a Kath Hound or something like this, pet stuff you know.

i agree with mr sir. i also agree that no matter how long it takes to get it that way, lets see the game completed.
and i wanna know how the ebon hawk magicaly flew away after falling into the depths of malachor. gah... that just confused me...
i think bastila and carth should be back but not as playable charaters. like you could go talk to them if you needed or even to gain influence with them so they would tell you a little bit about revan (if s/he isnt back from wherever)
i want to get pulled into the game like in the first one. the first one made it super personel. you find out your the fraking lord of the sith, then (if your playing a guy) your girl friend betrays you.
the second one wasnt personal at all. you pretty much new from the beggining that kreia was an evil old hag, so it didnt make it personal and there wasnt any surprises like there was in the 1st game.
i really really really want to get pulled into the game. in the first one, there were parts when my heart was pounding, my blood was rushing and i was going a mile a minute. in the second one... not so much. i want the same feeling i got from the first game, incorporated into the III
lets see a real romance. im not talkin about actully seeing anything, but c'mon you can talk about stuff. and hey, flirting is okay too ya know...
a limit on how much crap you can carry... omg... who the heck is gonna carry around 50 pairs of heavy armor?!
just all around make it a little bit more realistic.

with the equipment they could make it strength based like in other rpgs - so you can only carry a certain amount of equipment due to the weight, then they could have storage containers on your ship for you to store stuff you don't want to leave but don't want to carry around with you. also, you could have an inventory for each crew member so its not just you carrying everything.
yes! i totally agree! but what if you needed a something from a different party member? i guess you could switch out... hmm. eh... either way i like you idea. im just mad cuz i didnt think of it... lol
oh! i also think that there should be more planets and more/better options if you want to be a dark sider. and more/better options if you want to be a grey sider too.

amount of stuff
one of the best reasons u got stuff on you, tons of it, is so you can see it if you need the credits. When you're lightside you give away or spend more credits, so this stuff gets you back some, unless you dont need to sell stuff cause you know how to play pazaak, i hope i spelled it right...it's been a while

How about some sort of transportation along open spaces outside of cities? Like a bike or something like this. Or an mountable beast, from which you could fight. Or at least "fast travel" option, like you pay a fee and you get instantly transported to diffrent part of planet.
I don't know why people making KotOR are sure that *evry* relationship your character will make with part of your crew (Revan - Bastila, Exile - Brianna) has to be ended or it will cause total destruction to each of them. I alway's got pissed off when I'm told "I would like to date you very much, but unfortunatly, it will only bring death upon us" If I can't have relationship with party members, than make them romance with each other, like Brianna with Atton or Canderous with Mission (kinky).
How about giving the player some unique ability that he\she is actualy able to use in game, not the kind of stuff we had in second KotOR. For example, if you are a Jedi Guardian, your character could have some special abilities with lightsaber.

KOTOR III is a game that certainly has to be made in the next year or two. Personally I think its one of the Best Star Wars game titles ever. The fan base and large amount of KOTOR III wish lists suggests many people also feel this way. I don’t think bioware will be a part of it as they seem to have a whole line of new games such as Dragon age and mass effect in the making. In saying that I think obsidian will make the game and even better use the new engine being used for Neverwinter Nights 2. Just Looking at the screenshots for NVN 2 makes me wonder how good KOTOR III will be. Even better if the new version of the Aurora Neverwinter Toolset was included this time allowing modders even more options when making KOTOR mods.
One fan idea I read while perusing this post suggested that you begin as a young Padawan and answer questions to determine Revan and The Jedi from KOTOR II. This idea was brilliant, a good way to tie in the 2 games (especially since games with multiple endings are so hard to tie together when trying to include former player characters as NPCS). I personally would go with this idea but have my padawan begin on the dark side. It seems to me the story always focuses around a good guy turning evil or turning evil and being redeemed (Vader and Revan). It would be good to be able to choose from a variety of Races such as Twi’Leks, Bothan, Duros Rodian and Zabrak (Without limiting certain races to gender like JK3 did). It would be great to also use a larger variety of planets this time around perhaps 8-15. Even though this sounds like heaps it would make a much longer game and even still they don’t all need to be part of the story. Some planets could be side quest planets and others for the main quest allowing more gaming freedom.
Including more side quests would be great for KOTOR III but more chances to play Mini games would be great as well. One thing I found with KOTOR II was that with pazak by the time you got all the really good cards there was no one left to challenge. It would be great to have more competition. A galactic wide Pazak competition where you must be the champion at so many cantinas to play in the main competition to win the big credits. More dueling like in KOTOR I on Taris. Make the dueling more entertaining like multiple opponents and beasts such as rancor’s in the harder duels.
I would bring back the two droids and even add a few droids that can be purchased such as utility, protocol and battle droids. If you get a battle droid and you party with HK he should get jealous that he is being replaced etc. Also the speeder for the speeder bike Mini game should be upgradeable and replaceable like the robots.
The game should focus around 10 – 20 years after Kotor II. Both the republic and the Sith have taken major losses with many sith leaders falling to the hands of the previous heros/villains. A new hero is born whose fate is unclear but one thing is certain. The side he/she chooses to follow will dominate the galaxy for 100s of years. The main purpose behind the game could be the rebuilding of the jedi and sith orders on Dantooine and Korriban. Better still the nemesis in the game could be your twin or best friend. Either way it should be a person who follows a simple law of physics. For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction. ie if you are bad they are good and vice versa. Therefore, you will both seek out force sensitives to rebuild your choosen order.

i do not agree. i think that if it was that far in the future, the game would lose its impact from the privious game. most of the main characters would be dead from old age, and it just wouldnt feel right. i think that the game should take place maybe a month after K2 just so everything is still "fresh" in the galaxy. you know?
haha... galactic wide pazaak tournoment. i like it. it gets the katie stamp of approval *stamps computer screen*
yes, there should be swoop upgrades and, come to think of it, ship upgardes.
your veiw on the droids is intresting. id like maybe one more droid apart from T3 and HK, but definetly not a party of droids... *frears a macanical malfuction*
EDIT: i agree on the PC... sorta. how bout a reluctant hero of sorts? but to limit the PC to just the dark side... eh. i personally perfer light side and wouldnt be too happy if my main character was ds. bbut on everything else you said, i agree

What i think Krunomo was getting at, is starting as a Sith padawan, and having a choice of good/evil from there.
I agree about KOTOR III taking place shortly after KOTOR II, and it should definately include Revan and the Exile, maybe even as party members (although that will be nearing the insanely godlike level of games like TOB).
And perhaps the incorporation of, as Kayos said, ship upgrades, and the opportunity to play ship levels, where you have to personally fly your ship.
KOTOR III would be great if it had both Core Worlds, and Outer Rim/Distant planets included, as i have said before the idea of a search for the mysterious Revan.

Hey guys whats up. Here is what i want in kotar III.
1. A good solid story line something that can end the series with no questions asked.
2. Better chat options. I dont want something that you have to work for ever to get an answer and then there is nothing else to talk about.
3. A starting character that has some idea of what is going on in the galaxy.
4. I want better robes and more options as to what your character looks.
5. I want your character to start out as a padawan of one of the Exile's party members or of one of revans party members. this will allow you a information source to what is going on in the galaxy and where revan and the exile are.
6. A jedi acadamy. With all the old party members as jedi masters and with padawans that will one day be a part of your party.

I'm not paranoid! Which of my enemies told you this?
Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

your #5. i like that one. so youd be trained by one of the ppl that the exile trianed? that is brilliant. i love it. you are my new hero. ta daa *does spirit fingers* i like that one, thats who the main PC should be, a sorta second generation padawan of the exile. brilliant.

^^ #5 Been thinking about that all day, starting off as one of the Exiles party members' padawan isn't actaully that bad of an idea. And then being sent off in search of Revan and the Exile to help defend against a new threat, maybe having Revan be evil, and the Exile good (or V/V) and having the Sith and Jedi join together to win the battle. It's a bit radical, i'll admit, but it's an idea...

Bringing the three games together is an essential. Perhaps it is wise to keep in a certain timeframe. One of my original ideas was for the story to begin on Taris. To me this is a major event in the KOTOR timeline (expecially for those new to star wars, it shows the ferocity and destruction of the sith early in the series). Reven and the exile should be included in this game as well with there roles dependant on the choices made early in the game. For example you begin the game as a child.
The first way to bring reven into the story is simple. Your father is a regular at the cantina and hears storys of a excellent pazak player, a fantastic fighter who has won in the many duels on taris or a champion swoop rider. From that he is talking to his child (yourself) about this person and you correct him where he is wrong.
Father: You should have seen him he was an excellent Pazak player
You: No father it was a she.
Father: You sure i thought it was a man.
You: Nope it was a Woman. You were to busy loosing all your credits to know any better
(mind you im not a master of dialogue, just an idea on how to introduce reven)
Mother: there is this off worlder doing alot around here lately. She seems to be doing alot of good.
You: Number one its a he and two he is create more trouble around here then the sith
ok you get the idea much like how KOTOR II introduced reven. Perhaps this time they could even make it so you could create reven and the Exile at the begining in character creation.
In regards to the exile *SPOILER* read down 5 or so lines if you dont want kotor II spoiled although im sure uve all played it at least twice .
If the exile is bad i think he should be destroyed in between kotor II and III. Although he/she would make for a great fight he would simply be way to dangerous and by the time the new character got any strength the exile would have destroyed the galaxy. so in saying that if the exile is bad the republic should destroy malachor 5. which from my memory is still there if he becomes evil. On the other hand if she is good he would have exiled himself knowing that he was a danger. Perhaps his followers like Darth Humac said could be the trainers of the new character. Visas i think would have turned good in the end despite the exiles choice. expecially if he was to be removed. Her true inner good is shown throughout the game. She would make for an exceptional Jedi master and head of the dantooine enclave.
Reven i think besides that start of the game on taris should be a npc only. You should seek out reven for knowledge. Reven having been lost for all those years could have experienced events which have turned him neatral. Perhaps he has realised that the petty war between the jedi and sith is nothing in the scheme of things.
Bastilla i think should be completely evil. corrupted by the dark side no matter what Revens choices were. Reven leaving her even when he was good could be reason enough for her to be evil. Look at Anakin skywalker. although he appears good in episode 2 the loss of his mother begins his decline to evil.
so as i said you begin on taris as a child doing things to alter your alignment and teach you how to play the game. Like RBitG said i did mean that you begin as a dark side padawan and can turn good or remain evil. Prior to Taris being destroyed Darth Bandon could have kidnapped two children realising there force potential. Rather then taking them to Korriban ( the academy being destroyed in KOTOR II) he could have taken them to another sith planet even malachor 5 before the events of KOTOR II. The children grow up and become sith.
although you begin at a sith academy you could do good deads and progress to the light side. ultimately you leave the planet destined for dantooine to be trained by visas or return to korriban to help rebuild the sith enclave there ( as korriban is the heart of the sith it should be included).
This time around i would like to see a few planets from the movies. Endor would be cool. To make things funny an ewok could sneak aboard the ebon hawk (im sure that will be used again, although i couldnt care less). You could then take the ewok to manaan and sell it to the selkath or even make it join your team lol. Mon calamari would also be a great place to adventure.
The return of Mission could even be an option. Im sure she can die in kotor 1 but a death in a game/ movie or book don't always mean they die. Mission now a seasoned scoundrel has been around the galaxy making a living for herself while trying to find her no good brother. You could run into her on a planet and recognise her from your childhood on taris.
One thing i want to do is kill a Hutt. those things make me sick so killing one would be great
^ Are you suggesting it should take place between I and II? In the Mandalorion war peroid? Playing the Exile in this setting would be great.
The Mandalorian Wars were before K1...
I'd rather they did K3 after K2... To round up the 'True Sith' thing... perhaps dropping in on the Rakatan to find some old artifact to use...
