Heres a Dinky question that im not sure belongs here?
I just ran threw the game with a combat human mage, and im now in the process of running threw it again with the human combat mage, however I made mistakes on my skills which I dont think is a problem, But heres my question.
I want to run threw it again but im not sure what I should run threw it again as ?, I mean, all fighters do is run around and hit things and they keep moving, while say a mage of some sorts just stands back and pounds on them with there fire spells or ice spells. So heres my question ? what should I go threw the game as again ?, what weapon skill ? and what race ?

Well if you ran through it like a mage, I say go with Melee ... my main char is that or not just that ... rather high up on ranged as well but you can afford that once you go through to elite. It's fun picking up the armor if nothing else.
And He whispered to me in the darkness as we lay together, Tell Me where to touch you so that I can drive you insane; tell Me where to touch you to give you ultimate pleasure, tell Me where to touch you so that we will truly own each other. And I kissed Him softly and whispered back, Touch my mind.

well nature magic was made for defense not for offensive
I don't think it actually matters what race you pick
since it's all about how high skill and attributes you get.
but if you want small advantage for an archer in beginning pick a dryad
since they get +to dodge and survival IIRC
both are for ranged so that would be the best choice I woulf say
I prefer Human since I can spend up all free points

Oh and I found out that Nature spells stink for damage
My good man/woman. What on earth have you been smoking? (just kidding)
I've seen nature magic spells do 3000+ damage
i find ranged better anyway since you can move out of most attacks
ad melee is just doomed
Why is melee doomed? My main char uses melee primarily and I've had no issue whatsoever considering I've chosen the others carefully. After lvl1 difficulty was done with I raised all the other as well, and spent quite a few points on dodge for example ... nothing wrong with melee, you should see the damage my little girl does

Nature magic stinks, LOL, I went and decided to play a human archer and im getting my butt kicked alot because I dont have a nature mage to heal me LOL, Lothar is weilding a sledge hammer and him and my archer got our butts kicked against one of those lovely elites should had power recharged bye then
I wonder if a Dryad would be a good choice for a combat mage, i think im going to redo my combat mage and either go dryad who loves fire!, or go half giant who loves even more fire lol.
But Nature mages I think dont do to well as damage dealers, not until they get the Encase spell , There set with the encase spell lol. Then just give them mana regeneration items to hit to get mana back and there set lol

i know a meleer can own trust me dual wield rocks
my main char is melee too (actually jack of all trades but handling on melee most)
But i Prefer a archer the most if i want speedgaming
just run around dodge those missles and kill em
and since you primairly aim on ranged you do lot's of damage and with some power the heroes are wuzzies too but my finger get tired of the much moving around ;P

seriusly you don't need any mage healers
they are a nice addiction but not needed, be sure to drop by the shop quick enough for potions
and Nature is pretty good when used properly I think they own damage mages anyway, since damage mage can't auto heal and nature can,
+nature can add some defensive spells around her
