Snowbrook Valley Brigde

Snowbrook Valley Bridge

Hi,

I have noticed that in Snowbrook Valley there is a bridge to the left of the incantation shrine. Unfortunately I cannot cross the brdige. Since there are beasts behind it, I figure that there should be something to do behind it. Within the map there are no levers available (or not that I am aware of). Anybody anything on how to get across ?

If you keep moving forward, I think you'll eventually encounter what's on the other side of the bridge.

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Hi,

I think you are talking about a different bridge than I am.
The bridge is on the left of the incantation shrine (see screenshots).

I've went through this area at least 3 times on each difficulty. The only thing that comes to mind in Snowbrook Valley where a bridge is knocked down, is that there should be a path going uphill over to the left past the broken down campsite.

Also when in doubt, check your mini-map. Based on screenshot #2, I see 2 enemies to your left and what looks to be a path leading up.

Random hint on mini-map: Watch out for blue marks on your mini-map. They mark secret levers that lead to secret areas.

Hi,

Yah, the thing is I already went through this a couple of times on different levels, but I do not see any levers or others means to open up the bridge. The attached mini-map does not show any either.
Did anybody ever cross this bridge ? if yes how ?
What strikes me is that also the map on this site on snowbrook valley does not show this area. but if you cannot get there, why place char. on the other side ?

You don't cross the bridge at all. There's nothing over there.

Yah, but why are there red dots and enemies on the other side (look at screendumps). It does not make any sense to have these if you cannot kill them. This is un-DS.
On the signs it says that it is going to the direction of Snowbrook haven main gate.
Funny enough I cannot find a way back from snowbrook haven back to this bridge.
Do you think we have a spoiler/bug here ?

On the other side of the is Snowbrook Fortress. The only way to get there is to back up and take the upward path mentioned in the earlier post, then take a LONG loop having fun adventures on the way in the caves and caverns. If you really want to get onto the broken bridge from the other side you'll find an archway in the courtyard of the fortress.
